I agree 100 % ..... I am not mad at Chris and he should be forgiven and have a second chance ! It just so f*cked up because it seems like she ruined his life ( Not excusing his actions ) , he was dead ass wrong but we all have our dead ass wrong moments ( minus the spotlight ) . like JM said , I'll be damned if some woman is just gonna hit my son and he can't defend himself . Rihanna is a beautiful girl but she has been known to lose her temper and be very rude at times ! All I could think about when it happened was that Bey must be laughing her little head off on the inside because I'm sure that she has wanted to beat her little ass on more than one occasion ! It is just an unfortunate thing that happened , lets just hope that it doesn't turn into pattern for either of them . I wish them both the best , they have their whole lives ahead of them .

So true. The problem is that socitey expects him and all other artist to be these role models when really they should be looking at doctors and lawyers. Not to say that is what everybody should be but so many people are out there wasting thier time trying to be rappers and singers when really they should be doing something more productive with thier lives. People need to stop expecting singers and rappers to be these role models and leave them to be what they truely are. Real people that make stupid decisions and whatever. And no way my son will just let somebody just knock him upside the head and get away with that. I'm the momma and i'm the only female that puts her hands on that one.

Lol I ain't Anti-shit. I been knew this gal had a temper...and like someone from his camp said, as I already pretty much knew, he wasn't looking to be serious with her...I remember Chris saying he was too young to be with someone seriously and he had a lot of female fans. But pressure made him go for it. I bet he wish he had of stuck with his gut/first feelings.

I heard they both was high on x anyway that night. I don't condone any man hitting a woman, but I never felt Rihanna was 100% victimized. Plus this is the same girl who admitted to hitting her brother in the face with a glass bottle. See her brothers were probably scared or softer with her. But you can't get buck like that with every man.

IMO They both need counseling.

The above statement wraps up what I've been saying to people for months. Chris Brown was in an altercation with a WOMAN two years older than him. He was involved with someone his age, yet he's being raked over the coals. I don't agree with fighting and hitting one another to get a point across, I don't believe either of them is 100% innocent, but shouldn't she be facing some repercussions, too?

I've been a true victim, more than once (at 13 and at 18), and I will always blame myself more than both men for not walking away or getting help, but I didn't fester it and go out flaunting in my community because they knew what the deal was. You lay low and take some time out.

I used to love Rihanna when she first came out, but as they changed her image, I really think it reflects her personality. Sharp and willing to do anything to get ahead. I hate her new clothes and her "real" personality/attitude.

R yall fuckin serious? For ppl who don't condone hittin women you sure are makin a lot of exceptions to do just that. The dude BEAT UP a girl who weighs no more than 100 lbs. So she hit him with a stelleto (esp if the story is true that it was over a text msg from a jump off) out of rage or anger, not cool but still doesn't warrent an ass whoopin of that magnitude. He could have pushed her away and caught a cab, like he did after he beat her. Unless his life was in danger then he shouldn't have touched that girl and if that was the case his face would looked like hers. Yeah, he's a kid but he's 19 not 6. Stop excusing his actions to young dumb stupidity. There are millions of young men who have not/will not beat up their gfs. Honestly, yall are on that beaten women syndrom stuff "well I MADE him hit me, its my fault" bs. Unlike yall I will raise my sons to never EVER hit a women esp if its over some weak hit from a stelleto (didn't even puncture the skin). Instead he should bounce on the girl and get a restaining order.

You can raise your children any way you want to but they make their own decisions. I don't condone what happened and don't make excuses for either of them. If they had a history of abuse, and THEY BOTH CHOSE TO STAY TOGETHER for publicity or what not, it falls on them 50/50. If someone hits you once, you don't always walk away. No one but the two of them truly know what happened, so it's all speculation until the "truth" comes out. I don't provoke men AND DO NOT SEE ANYONE ON HERE SAYING THEY MADE A MAN HIT THEM, but I DIDN'T GET HELP, that's mine to deal with and I have no problem sharing that. I was condoning the violence but not speaking up and staying in the relationships. Did that give the right for my boyfriends to hit me? Of course not.

So before you get to popping off at the mouth judging us based on OPINIONS we are openly sharing, take a moment to re-read what we've written.

Like I said before, we always raise our little boys, not to hit girls, but what about the little girls who hit boys. If my brother was dating a chick who everytime they got into she hit him and he let it slide and then one night he beat her ass, hate to say but she was asking for it. They say its hard for women to walk away from abusive realtionships, but I here its even harder for a man to walk away. Think, do you really want everyone to know your girl beat you up?! Hell naw! It's a catch 22 for Chris cause he looks like a punk for getting his ass beat for so long, then he looks like a punk for fighting back one time! Not fair at all! I guess everyone won't let him off the hook til she gets into with the next boyfriend!

Oh, yeah & women can be just as abusive as men! I can't tell you how many times I've gotten mad in the past & slapped the $hit out of boyfriend! At the time, you don't think he's bigger than me, you are just mad and ready to hand out ass whuppins! Never got hit back before, but when you look back on it, those guys were bigger than me and could've easily slapped me one time & it woold've be over!

Hell yeah abuse is wrong, but instead of going eye for eye, rectify the situation in another way. Rhi shouldn't have hit him but Chris damn sure shouldn't have bloodied and lumped her up like that either.

This is what happens when you waste time trying to be in a relationship you really don't want to be in. All types of things happens. This doesn't only apply to children. He forced himself to be with Rhianna for the media. I wish his mom would have taught him to have dignity. I hope he has learned his lesson from all of this. I'm not even talking about the hitting part. I wasn't there. But if Rhianna jumped in his face swinging like a dude, oh well, expect to get hit like one. I'm not saying haul off and punch a chick in the face with a closed fist,that's smaller than you. But you can shake the shit out of her. forget that, boys don't hit girls. That rule has been changed since women no longer stay at home bare footed and pregnant. My son may not hit females, he picked that up from I don't know where, lol. But if he comes home with any type of marking from a girl, I will have to dust my sneakers off. lol Son may not hit girls but momma will drop a chick in a min. Chris should have gotten his mom. Oh, I forgot, she loves Rhianna because they are both light skin with green eyes. His words not mine. I've never jumped in a mans face because I know I can't beat them.

I totally agree with your post.. again not condoning Chris hitting Rhianna... but come on now it's like "Baby Boy" when Jody told ol girl not to hit him & she kept hitting him, so he smacked her ass; he had a valid point to do so! But people got to realize females are not always the victim; not saying Rhianna did this..but again movie reference lol sorry, "A Thin Line Between Love & Hate", ol girl had hit her damn self & blamed it on Martin Lawrence character! And even though these may be movies, this stuff does happen in real life!
But also a lot of people still support R. Kelly & he was having sex with little girls! Come now, I guess it's okay to sleep with young girls but as soon as you hit one you need to go to jail! The world is so backwards!
We all make mistakes...you live & you learn...people always judging each other...when we should judging ourselves & look at how we live out lives! I wish people would stop acting like they haven't done dirt, only thing is Chris Brown got caught & told on, that's the only difference!

P.S. they knew they wasn't meant to be together with a match up name like "Chrihanna" is sounds like a new sexual disease!
