I know the trial began yesterday, has anyone been keeping up with it? Thoughts?

Do you find his doctor to be responsible?

I totally get what you are saying but part of hi drug addiction I am sure was to cope with all of the leeches that he had to deal with...family and staff and inner circle...That is a heavy burden to carry. Everyone from his mother down was an enabler. The whole thing is just sad. The fact that Conrad Murray agreed to do  what he knew was wrong and a violation of a Dr's ethic speaks to his character... all money ain't good money I bet he sees that now..

I don't think what he did was right, and I'm not defending him. I'm just surprised that no one else has been called into question. Maybe it will happen, but it's just messed up all around.

Dr. Murray was more than an enabler, he was his pusher...and he was pushing ANESTHESIA and not for surgery for that ALONE he should be prosecuted for that alone. He violated the Hippocratic Oath which is the oath Dr.'s & other healthcare providers take here is an excerpt from one version of it. in which he is in direct violation:

I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.

I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a pessary to cause an abortion.

But I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts.

I believe Dr. Murray did what he was paid to do, and unfortunately, Michael died. And it's sad that Dr.Murry is the one being held to the fire, not the security guy who's been on TV left and right about this, not the maid/nanny who claimed Michael was going to marry her. So many people enabled this man to death, and the one person with the degree who accepted the money is going to fall. Does he deserve to be punished? Yes. So do the others around him and the other doctors writing prescriptions, and the pharmacies filling them. They knew who they were giving out the drugs for, they accepted their payment just like everyone else.
His death was caused by the propafol... When MJ first died, and since lots of doctors and pharmacists have been questioned, but all propafol roads lead to Murray...

Yes MJ was dependent on drugs for sleep and other things as well. Mainly to help him deal with daily living which I am sure felt like  Hell a lot of times, wI=TH EVERYONE WANTING AND TAKING FROM HIM!!take  I honestly dont believe there is a single person on the earth who knew what it felt like to be him! Dr Murray should have not taken the job, He knew he was not competent to take on a patient with that needed that much help!!! There is NO WAY he should have left him alone with no supervision after giving him that drug! He was looking for hat payday and in the end took on a job he couldnt handle. Regardless if others contributed, DR MURRAY is the one who left Michael alone!!!! I just pray that people live by and learn to love one another through his music and that the world will be a better place because of him!! JUSTICE FOR MICHAEL!!!

This situation is so sad. Michael should not had to die like that. Dr. Murray is not the sole blame by far, it's a long list of physicians and pharmacists who contributed to this shame. It's always one who is made the example~ Dr. Murray Conrad ur it. MJ, Dr. CM were desperate and that's what led to each fate. As for Katherine.... I would hav thought she would've been more sypmpathic or empthaic toward her son. She of all people should not pointin blame when everyone knows MJ issues ran deep. Why not let Michael Joesph r.i.p. for his name sake?
