Kelis Wants $80k/Month!

Well Kelis has taken her case of brokeassness to the courts. She filed her expenses in court docs today to prove why she needs the money Nas is refusing to give her for baby expenses and living expenses.
According to TMZ: Kelis says from 11/08 to 4/09, her average monthly income was $21,616. Hardly poor, but way less than what she and Nas were pulling in while she was with him.
Kelis, who is ready to give birth, has some pretty hefty expenses — $80,831 a month … way more than she says she makes. Kelis says she hasn’t toured in a year and most of her income comes from her concerts.
Kelis says she spends $14,861 on her mortgage. Her nanny costs $3,500 a month. She spends $15,000 a month on entertainment, gifts and vacations — not too shabby. And she says it cost $175 to have the “baby rug dry cleaned.”
So Ke Ke hasn’t made over $20k in a month, but needs $80k for her mortgage and nanny and rug cleaning for her unborn baby. Can’t wait to see how the judge rules on this one….

I hope this broad gets nada! All she should get is child support and part of the medical expenses. I know you have to come high with this stuff but again nas does not have 80k to be giving to this crazy broad every month. If she makes 20 he probably makes no more than 50 and that's high balling. This needs to play out the same way it would for average folks because they were a working couple both contributing to the marriage like regular people. For most regular people they just get child support and maybe some alimony for a year or 2 but not beaucoup money. She probably got pregnant as part of the plan, she knew she was getting fed up and was contemplating divorce. Why not get pregnant so the alimony increases and you get child support too.

So this chick can't live off $21,616 (quarter million a year), I know chicks with kids that live off of $21,000 a year (w/o govt handouts), so Kelis better make it work, LOL. Let me stop, he does need to pay her some form of child support, and some spousal support since she can't jump back into doing concerts do to her pregnancy, but $80G/month is almost a million per year, I think thats rather extreme. WTH? $175 to get the baby rug dry cleaned...I can help her save money on that one...either get rid of the rug or get it cleaned at the local cleaners up the street for about $50.
I read that he did sign a $11 million deal and he owns a travel company as well as other expensive assets (cars and 5 houses including the one he bought her family in the DR). Overall, I hope she gets a fair settlement, sometimes this chicks get too damn greedy and evil and want the dude to end up living in a card board box.

but nas is not even touching diddy, i feel like yeah he should pay for his child (if it is his) and medical expenses that is point blank, she should have been saving and putting shit away she was to busy trying to be bossy now look my question is if you was with someone like nas, diddy,jayz or whomever how can you not put some cash away i mean i understand shopping and all that but why wouldn't you put some of that cash up so if something did happen like this you just wouldnt be out there broke
