its obvious Nicki completely took kimmys style. i heard she did it for attention and because no one else would do it.

When put together like this, it sure seems like Nicki did...but then Kim hasn't been doing too much so I guess Nicki stepped in where she left off AND took it a step further. Basic marketing/get ahead skills we see everyday. Someone takes a product, builds on it, makes it 20% different, then calls it their own *shrug* You gotta get ahead some way even if it is based off of what others started. Plenty of businesses do it...and though it's entertainment...the industry is still mostly about business. But it's nothing substantial.

Yeah that's crazy. How people are playin Kim like she never said she was a Black Barbie.

It's a different era, but yeah, Nicki jocked all Kim's swag. And unfortunately, is doin it better.

Remember the pic Kim took lickin a lollipop with her legs cocked open? Yeah, Nicki jocked that too when she first came out.

Crazy.

Poor Kim.

not necessarily better. Kim was the best when she was out. But now everything is dfferent: the industry is different, "hip hop" is different and its a whole new generation, so theres really no comparison.

 

I think Kim and many others issue with nicki is shes trying to say this is all her own style and she didnt get it from kim...when its obvious she did.

OMG! I had never thought to look at the comparison's but you are right!

And I don't think Nicki goes harder than Kim, maybe with the verses, but voice wise Kim rules over Nicki any day! I believe Kim needs some help with her verses for sure cause Nic got Weezy, SB, Birdman, Drake, YMCMB, hell too much help!

I dont think Kim really fell off-OFF until she f**ked up her face went to jail.  She had a hit or two on every CD and her 'The Truth' CD was real good, but once she f**ked up her face got locked up it was a wrap.

I still like Kim better than Nicki , but I'm a true hip hop fan . I think that Nicki is hott , dont get me wrong , I love what she is doing , and I really love the fact that she is not all about sex , but lets be real , she learned from the best . They both are royalty in their own right , but I think I could listen to Kim rap longer than I could stand Nicki's annoying ass voice . Anyway , they're both making money , so I'm not mad at either .
