You can have  a head scarf but don't 'tie it at the front' like Auntie Jemima lol

Wear jeans or sexy sweats and you're presentable.

You can the ulgiest looking beautiful with a little bit of work. Im not saying that you can not be fly while wearing a hea scarf because you can. I was just using that as a example of what not to do. I know many of times s*** happens, because I know that I have on many occasion have went to the chinesse market for a mango and end up doing 100 other things. Im not  saying do your errands with on a face full of make-up and put your "f*** me" pumps on. What I am saying is make your presentable when you leave the house.

 

BUT WHAT IS PRESENTABLE TO YOU MAYBE  NOT PRESENTABLE TO ME

Lol. 

I have aunts in Louisiana (no other part of my family does this) that get up, do their hair, put on a full face of makeup & dressed to the nines to sit in the house & watch tv... I developed an early aversion to it, I think that's why I'm so overly casual...

I don't get super dressed up when doing casual things, but I can't wear my head scarf or pajamas outside my house, I just can't!

Hey, if you must... at least do a ponytail and baseball hat. At least you'll look "sporty." Some guys dig the tomboy look.

Girl yes!!!!! I mean hair laid, and face beat!!! Drawn on eyebrows and ALL...
And when I dress up, I'm still casual... If I need a party dress, it's dressy but it's not overtly dressy... I just like to look like me...

Who do they think is gonna drop by? And like someone said earlier, I want to get some "dressier" casual stuff like the Vickie Secret sweatsuit, ect

I have older relatives that do because they never know who's going to drop by.

I guess this whole go out in your scarf thing is just declasse' to me.  I wouldn't put on full make-up to go to the market, but I do think through my outfit. And yes, even casual...it's an outfit.  I am single in a big city...I never know who I might have the opportunity to meet. Once I ran into my ex's girl...and she had a rag on her head at the market, so I was just glad my lipgloss was popping.

 Now, I know I will not be getting out of the car, so that's my justification for it. Most of the time when i drop my daughter off @ school, i just pull up and she gets out. Just today I went to the beauty supply, it was in the hood, so i felt it was okay to wear my headscarf! LOL Sure, you can bump into anyone, at anytime, but yes, i do this. LOL
