For Women Who Want The Ballerific Life!
I need make up tips. I was watching some youtube videos and still watching some but I still need help. I wear eye make-up, but nothing fancy, and I wear a little foundation every now and then, I use a brush and brush it lightly on my face, thats the extent of that. I want to know how to use concealer, how to get the right colors, how to know if its not the way makeup is suppose to look, what is primer and the best kinds (i want to go cheap - covergirl, loreal, etc) until I know exactly what Im doing - I heard it can be used for oily skin and when I wear make-up my skin is always shinny even though I use the MAC thats suppose to minimize shine.....what is pressed powder? is it the same as foundation but just in a powder? what is setting powder - the lady in the store told me that old ppl uses that.....Im trying to get ready for CIAA and see what I can pull :-)
DANG you are clueless!
Nah, just joking. Loreal makes a primer. Studio Secret. Pressed powder is foundation in powder form. it's good for oily skin types as it absorbs oil and gives you a matte look. Setting powder is not just for old people. Who the hell hired that chick? Makeup artists use it all the time to set the makeup and help it last longer.
this guy has a great YouTube channel:
Invest 100 dollars and take the mac one on one class...
I wont use the cheap stuff on my face if I were you....cheaper price mean, cheaper quality *not good for the skin*. For oil control get Sephora matte blotting paper, its around $8 a pack :)
For drugstore brands foundation I would suggest revlon and loreal for primer, loreal hip for eye products and revlon again for lipgloss and lipstick, and maybelline for mascara.
However you should invest in quality products the ones I suggest for us brown girls are
Mac for lip products everything else breaks me out personally
And youtube is your friend when it comes to learning about makeup my fave channels are
