WELL miami is full of hoodrats and thugs memorial day weekend from what i hear....they say all the real ballers i.e cubans and big $$$$ leaves the city cause its a mess....hope u have ur hotel booked already cause finding one now will be damn near impossible

Trust you will have a ball! yes there are hoodrats and ballers as well....variety of both, I'll be down in Miami for that weekend as well...nothing but PARTIES, PARTIES, PARTIES!

I just wanted say that I hope you guys have a great time and I have heard the best time to really enjoy the city is not during major holidays when it crowded and etc.

Go to events at the top of the page it will tell u all the ish that is going on during memorial day..mansion, bed just wall around you will find some club to get into

I'm not from Miami and yes it is hood-tabulous, but you still can have fun. I'm going down for a 2nd time just because I got suckered into it lol. Stay away from walking up and down the strip all day. It was too crowded and not that much fun. Go lay by the pool at the Foutainbleau or any of the nicer hotels. You dont have to be a guest to rent a cabana at the Foutainbleau. I suggest just chilling during the day. The hood vibe is in full effect from12-5. StAY AWAY FROM h*** in the wall clubs like Sobe Live...I went once on Spring Break in College and Luke was a having a stipper contest there. ALL BAD. I had to clutch my pearls chile. She has a good list of parties in the event section. Try going to a good strip club. King of Diamonds is def one of my stops. Hope this helps:)

I live in Miami and my birthday is May 31 but I will NOT be on South Beach that weekend. It is hooodd but if that is your scene then go for it.

I live in Miami Beach and work in a very popular luxury hotel here, and if you are open to it I highly recommend coming during a regular weekend. There are not many true ballers that weekend, and if that is your goal of going this is not weekend to do it. Plus you have to deal with raised club and hotel prices. Plus lots of hotels have different policies, which will make it harder for you to enjoy yourself. This weekend is known to have a lot of fights break out so the police are also a lot stricter some hotels even hire police to be stationed on property. Also, the clubs do not extend the same courtesy’s to hotel guest during this time period, guest list and VIP access are extremely strict so you will most likely have to pay covers higher then usual. Unless, you are planning to get bottle service, it will be difficult to gain VIP access. I am not sure what you and your girlfriends are in to but I do think this weekend is very tacky and feel that you would have wayyyy more fun if you come on a normal weekend. (I work with VIP guest in the hotel I work for and I can tell you we do not have anyone special staying with us on that weekend) But feel free to message me if you need any advice with your trip, whenever you decide to come.
