Honestly IDK how I would handle the weight or the seriousness of the news, but I know that I wouldn't leave him, its not like he said he was on the Down-Low or anything. I have a current guy whose mother use to BEAT THE S*** out of him when we were age 10-14 (probably even before then, but thats when I met him). I remember one day she broke his arm and he'd never tell the cops or our school counselor what happened. I always thought he would grow up to be abusive or crazy or hating females and he's the exact opposite.

I've actually dated and was with someone who told me they were molested by someone in their family! I was so shocked when he told me this! It actually helped build our relationship at the time because I too have been sexually abused. I still loved him and still love him to this day!

If he survived childhood molestation and shared it with me I won't leave him. But, I'll ask if he ever got counselling or therapy. I would also ask if he family knows and if he had confronted the abuser for closure.

Whoever said they would leave him is an insensitive cow, sorry. What if you got raped and he left you? Or you were sexually abused as a child and finally got the nerve to share with him and he left you? I admit I definitely would not know how to handle it but if I truly loved him I would try to help him as best as my ability.

say wat u want but i wouldn't date someone who been molested for the simple fact that there is a chance that he would do to my children or my family children. I would however try to help him as a friend get the help he need but until i know for a fact that he won't do the same thing to mines i wouldn't continue to date him
