The word is out: R&B Diva Monica and NBA star Shannon Brown are man and wife.The rumors have been swirling for two months that Mo and Shannon got married prior to her moving in with her fiance in LA in November. The marriage took place in front of the couple’s parents.Over the weekend, a reader emailed me to say that Monica went into the Clayton County office 2 weeks ago to change her last name to Brown.Loyal reader Sheena wrote:I heard recently thru a friend that Monica is married and keeping things hush! She had her name change recently @ the dmv in clayton county. My friend states since November. As much as I believe in love, and hate people sh*tting on other people's joy, I'm wondering if she's pregnant This smells an awful lot like Brandy's "marriage" that came out of the blue when it was announced that she was pregnant. Does anyone have access to the court records, are they open for where they were married? I know they won't immediately post a "famous" person's marriage license in open records, but at some point they are made available. Something about this just isn't right.
I hope I'm wrong, I truly do.
