She will be three. Going on 33, Sassy self, LOL. I am ususally too tired & broke for Mother's day cuz I am winding down from a party. This year I am not doing a party, not in the mood, LOL. I will be in Philly this year taking her to Sesame Place.

Aww congrats and Happy mommy's day!!!! U have to send her the dip too if you get the crab meat.

she's a md. native and will be turning them into crabcakes. crazy self. about a month ago asked me to send some on a random tuesday. umm, i think not!

I use a few different recipes and it's been mostly trial and error. I've learned to taste as I go. I will admit my truffles are ugly as sin unless I roll them in something, I've yet to master a smooth, professional coating.

This recipe is one of my favorites, but I don't use as much confectioner's sugar as the recipe calls for. I taste the truffles once they set and if it needs to be sweeter, I just use a sweet coating. Also, add extra liquer if you're adding any, it really makes a difference. I go and find whatever small sample size I can get of anything with a strong flavor (Chambord, super sweet rum, or an Irish cream) and split the truffles and make three different flavors.

I will sometimes mix the recipe above with some from this recipe to see what happens. Read the reviews for both recipes, one has a really helpful review with over 1,000 votes on it and it's helped me a great deal.

I am making brunch for my mother and sister we are going to have a "game day" with my nephews play kick ball, spades, and some board games brunch will turn into a bbq later in the evening. As for gifts I am without a clue...but this brunch menu is to die for.

I'm doing my usual. I usually include my aunt with my since my cousin is a bum and barely calls her for Mother's Day. We are all going to get mani/pedis (maybe eyebrow waxes if I can talk them into it. They aren't girly at all), taking them to see a movie, taking them out to lunch, and a cash gift. The cash gifts usually depends on how my account is looking. I also want to get them either Shari's Berries or Edible Arrangements or maybe some flowers. That may be a little much though. I'm an only child so I usually try to do big things for my mom :-)
