I don't even care that he's paying they bills or whatever the hell they are doing, but damn get y'all a hustle spend that money on something useful (SCHOOL,OPEN UP A BARBER SHOP, INVEST,SOMETHING) other than liquor, jewelry, etc..  Now would I be wrong if I told him & them this? I'm sorry y'all might be like b**** they was around before you (I Know, I Know), but grown ass men shouldn't be just sitting around I'm sorry LOL

PlaneJane you could be right. But I just assumed that since he wants her to move in he is trying to wife her up and he probably values her opinion. But timing is everything. Get your foot REALLY in the door, assess how to best handle the situation then go from there!

This sounds like it will be exciting tho. I'm excited for you lol ( if you choose to go)

Bottom line: Brii if you are gonna bring up the male groupies you have to start out doing so passive aggressively. The edge out should be slow and you've got to make him think it is his idea. Like ya'll can't do you because them niggas stay lurking. Put it in his mind that they are messing up his life (ie Power of suggestion) then he'll do the cutting himself.

guilt trips always get him! Lol But i say look into the schooling first I mean like deep into it. Last year of nursing girl I took nursing for like a year and it was kicking my ass. So you better not drop that s*** now! Whatever you do just make sure its benefiting you. PlaneJaneLane said:

Brii don't do it you are not even wifey and you want to meddle in his affairs..he will mostly likely discuss it with them if you say something and once they find out they will do anything to get you out of the picture.

 

I agree with most go ahead and move but make sure first that your education is not disturbed. Try to get something in writing from him coz we have have all seen gf hell even wifes put on the streets.

I would express your concerns to him.....he should provide you a financial cushion in case he wakes up one morning and doesn't like you anymore ( you know how men are)....that way you are able to move and resume your life without any undue diffculty.

I think it depends on where he lives and the universities around there.  A degree from Vandy is looked upon very highly.

Does your school allow post graduates to take semesters elsewhere (like foreign exchange semesters, but local)? If so, do that and take your last semesters at this school near him but graduate from the school you started out with. Keep your condo, rent it out and go head. I agree with Midwest tho, make sure all your credits transfer. You don't want to be in school for longer than a year. There a great difference between switching up your life and putting it on hold for that Eeyore ass nigga.

Hey Brii! Whatever your decision, be sure to have a plan b, c, d and f...especially f, (the F this I'm going back home bank rolls). But I pretty much agree with those about the classes - definitely look into that, know what classes you'll need to take as a transfer, because transferring is a b**** if you aren't 110% prepared! I'd say go with your gut. It's definitely a big step in the relationship, but to be completely honest, part of me agrees with Tone, he wants you to drop your life where you are and come to him, but then the other part of me thinks it's a huge step in the relationship and it's a compromise (like someone else mentioned), and it's necessary for a relationship. 

Anyways, long story short, go with your gut and be prepared!! Talk to him in depth about everything! (That involves you and him!) Good luck!!!!

Thanks y'all for the advice :-)

 I don't know if we are ready to move in I almost snapped his damn neck last weekend! Also, I asked him what happens after I move in and he looked at me like I was retarded! He said we would just chill and I wouldn't have to work (This is where my red flags went up) so I asked him what I was suppose to do all day other than school and he tells me to "Just wait till I get home." <---- Now I have no problem with that, but I went to school for a reason and I explained this to him and he was like that's cool and all "You can be my private nurse." I flew home after that! Maybe I'm being emotional but damn he said it like my job wasn't s*** (I Hate that s*** but damn only I can say that) Am I overreacting?
