IMO, he's not getting the co-operation he needs to accomplish/fufill his plans that will benefit the people.

He's still a hot prez. I feel like he has everyone against him at some point and it's tough! Rush's comments, the decision to send troops, and the public option for healthcare are killing me right now. LET MY PREZ BE GREAT!

I personally feel like the healthcare option is so necessary . If the insurance biz wasn't faulty (sicko movie) then we wouldn't need this dilemma. It's so sad that they are using the Republicans to voice this as a monstrosity, like Insurance Companies are the victim. If they offered better care, were more concerned with their customers along with the profits and not just the latter, and were open to everyone with less trivial prerequisites, we wouldn't have this problem!

I'm just so angry that a man had to choose between 2 fingers to get sewn on, because his insurance company made him choose. SMH

but um.. yea.. He's doing well under the circumstances. If someone had heckled me during a speech I'd have called him on stage and ripped him a new whole... publicly, just like his immature heckling on national tv. SUCK ON THAT!

I love my POTUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I think he's trying to make this country a better place!!!

On the healthcare & insurance issue... everybody should look into supplemental insurance.

you are sooo right about that... every critique is just sooo extra... why didn't he have women @ the bball game... then he took a woman golfing, why why why... even the "beer summitt" why didn't they invite the 911 caller... why did Michelle wear shorts... and then they picked on the girls... its just too much...

He's the best! People need to wake up and realize it is going to take a lot longer than year to fix the 8 years Bush spent messing us up! Who is better than a black man to blame this sh!t on? But Obama will pull us through, I am convinced and even if he doesn't I'm not mad...I mean he is the first black president.

I was watching the "We The People" documentary that premiered on HBO last nite (it might air again tonight) & it showed all the behind the scenes stuff from the very beginning, when he decided to run & some people still couldn't even pronounce his name... man, that doc. had me feeling that feeling of elation all over again @ the end when he wins..... Point being that it showed me how much of an uphill battle it was, from going from obscurity (even tho' he was in the Senate) to where he is now. And it will continue to be a battle.

@KeyToLife, u said it all.. it will take quite a while & a few presidents after Obama to reverse the f*ckery that was Bush. OBAMA is the best there is.

Last time I commented on Obama niggaz wanted to "cut my nuts off." Nevertheless, Obama isn't Black...he is however biracial. Accept it. When your mother is white and father blk it makes you biracial...not talking historical lineage and great grand fathers...I'm talking about direct semen ovary biological parents. To call himself black is to disown his mother period. He's not black. We don't have a black president and I'm not sure when there will be.

Which brings me to my next point. How pratical would it be for a black man to become president? Would he have to attend Harvard? Graduate top of his class and why??? Why cant he come from Georgia Tech or a Howard? What if he went to a Jr. college? Could he get ur vote?

Sarah Palin flunked out 3 times and was damn near Vice President. John McCain was at the bottom of his class and damn near was president. Ronal Reagan was an actor and landed the position. The fact still remains that a black male stills has to work 80 times harder and have no flaws to get the same shot as his white counterpart. But no excuses here...

If a half of a black man has to have a damn near perfect, impeccable, flawless resume in the perfect conditions to be president and be friends with Oprah.....I can only imagine what I would have to do. No I can't even imagine what it would take. Possibly another 30-40yrs.

he is a great man and i am thoroughly impressed, but as a progressive and liberal i feel like he needs to let his juevos hang a little bit more with respect to republicans(the party of no). he needs to always be on the offensive and never the defensive. he need to remind americans that the majority of freedoms we enjoy came about through liberal causes

He never said he was black & he has not denied his heritage. It's the media that calls him black. I'm for the underdog and anyone who can break the 'negative stereotypes' of the blk race that the wht media forces on us & their own every day.

He has a few years to go and he's fighting passionately for what he believes in. He realizes that he needs their cooperation to get his bills passed. Politics is a dirty game with room for only 1 blk prez. He slipped through this time but they won't let another non-whte person through for some time to come.

Walk a couple of miles in his shoes and then you can talk $hit.

Dude you splitting hairs with the Black v. Interracial comments. You can proclaim to be a Black man or woman and be the product of an interracial family. It's not a big deal. In Arkansas they call him Black in upstate New York they call him Black in rural Texas they call him Black. Being a Black man with a White mama and Black daddy is not mutually exclusive
