Ladies..you can rock weaves and still have healthy long hair. 

I don't have any home remedies but my routine includes wash/deep conditioning every 8 or so days. Stumbled across this hair product line called "Naked by Essations" I know don't judge me..I use their Deep Cleanse or Honey & Almond shampoo and conditioner(keratin plus reconstructive masque). Put IC oil treatment and olive oil moisturizer before I blow dry my hair. Straighten and wrap hair after. I go to Dominicans for a hair relaxer and swear by them just started using "Brazilian Hair Relaxer - Mild" and its really good gets the job done and I am not seeing any damage to my hair. My hair is always in a weave so I relax every two months and let the hair breath for 1 month in btw weaves if I can but there are some time when I have weaved one day after a relaxer but don't recommend for anyone - I have really thick hair/grains.  

Be sure to TLC your hair even when weaved up with deep condition every 8 days or so.
