For almost a year i've been extremely stressed out to the point where my face is breaking out horribly! I've also been having  really bad headaches and some days i just want to lay in the bed all day and not do anything but sleep. Do any of of you have any ways that you relieve stress. I was thinking of trying some type of mediation or working out more...Any suggestion? Thanks

learn about acupuncture and pressure points and use it when you feel extreme tension. Meditation helps but you have to get used to it, it's hard to start, you supposed to not think at all, have no thoughts just sensing your body. Massage and yoga are good supplements to workouts, or you can just do yoga alone.Try to detox your body this helps tremendously with stress, drink green tee all the time, eat more green veggies and fruits, eliminate bad foods as much as possible. Stress is the cause of many illnesses so you have to take care of your mind and body. Your main goal is to learn to relax and let go physically and mentally.

Also try to shift your mind to new perspectives - Nothing in this life is more important than your health and life, you don't need things or people to be happy. Everything that makes you unhappy - is bad and evil, avoid it at any cost! It may sound a little selfish but when you are stressed and unhappy you're draining yourself and other peoples energy, when you are happy and positive you're giving more positivity into the world..

I would like to add: this may be TMI but get a check up. Facial breakouts and headaches can sometimes be caused by infections that are not at all related to sexual intercourse. They are usually minor PH imbalances, but can really affect the glow of ur skin and many other things. Also, DROP THAT MAN!!!! I just know there is a man tied all up and through here! Lol

lol i knew someone would put this on here. I have one and ill use it more often...thanks creative bee ill definitely take your advice.

I totally agree with your advice Creative Bee! I used to be extremely stressed out and in the beginning of 2011, I decided I was going to get back to the happy and healthy me at all cost! I made the decision to start meditating every morning. Bikram Yoga is a great stress reliever! It's yoga in 100-105 degree room for 90 minutes. It's so intense and it incorporates breathing excerises and meditation. Boxing is a great stress reliever too! I also stopped being around stressful people and those with negative energy....Think about what truly makes you happy and do more of that. I really hope you feel better and wish you the best of luck =)

the fact that you want to lay in bed all day and sleep is something to be concerned about....i'm sure that's a normal sign of depression but to feel like this for almost a year is a little much.  the ladies have given you some really, really good advice so try the work out and battery action and if that doesn't help, go talk to someone.  i'm tellin you, the whole "i don't want to get out of bed" thing is really scary.  no one should EVER get to that point.  taking a weekend off and laying in bed to reginerate yourself is one thing but if you're doing it more than that, most def start some sort of excersing or meditation.  good luck!

I was thinking the same thing as "Ready..". It sounds like you may be battling depression. Talking to a professional on ways to address the issues creating your stress maybe helpful. I also journal to get my thoughts on paper and get myself organized. And as all the ladies have said..get moving with excercise, I especially like Yoga. I use to have a hard to clearing my mind to meditate, so I also bought a CD with ocean sounds which really calms me. Find whatever works for you, but the ladies have given some great options. Hope you feel better soon!

i didnt think about that but ill look into it...lol@ drop that man....no seriously that's not an issue but thanks everyone for the advice. I've done bikram yoga and i loved it but i just didnt go consistantly.

Well i lost my job last year...I have alotta debt i use to pay everything on time but now i've let things go b/c i couldnt afford it so i know that has hit my credit...my car broke down...i dont have anything saved up to get it fixed...im living at home with my parents...they are having financial difficulties themselves...i still dont have a job...my unemployment is about to run out...im back in school but not sure if ill get financial aid...so that's really the bulk of it.

I moved back in with my parents after losing my job and not only did I break out, but I also lost almost all of my hair from stress. Between debt, not having your own privacy, no income, it understandable how you can be depressed, but if your back in school at least you taking the right steps and not just sitting around. Hopefully you'll get the financial aid. Reading helps relax my mind, no matter if its a newspaper, or some ghetto novel, its a great way to escape for a minute.

And lil bit of weed helps too sometimes.
