new to BA and new to Charlotte!
Sorry- think i posted this in the wrong place at first..
- Hi ladies (and gents) ;-)
I love the conversations on this site!
Like so many before me, I trolled a bit before deciding to join the ranks of others who want the best in life. Not only am I new to BA but I am also new to the Charlotte area. I would love to meet/lunch with other like minds in the area of Charlotte as well as converse and toss around some ideas and strategies with others that want to ball.
Lol, I majored in marketing so I am all about that SWOT analysis and project management stuff. I actually live in one of the nicest parts of Charlotte (lots of ballers and ballettes around these parts here) but not the ones I really want to meet- Im a lot more interested in the NFL and the team's corporate crews (if that makes any sense) Im still a little clueless but I learn fast..plus..two heads (or more) are better than one so those who are really trying to make it happen in 2012, feel free to comment, inbox me or friend!

Welcome, are you south park? There are actually quite of few of woman on here that are in the Charlotte area, which is great. Charlotte is a great place to meet ballers bc there are a lot of basic and busted chick lbvs

Hey girl,
Im not too far from Southpark- I decided on Ballantyne- only been here a few months. Lol, at 'basic and busted' but it's true that Charlotte is not on the map like bigger metros in the US (LA, NY, Miami, etc.) but I love the fact that it is not overly saturated yet so there's plenty of opportunity to make some things happen!

girlI love it so far! I mean, like I was telling Double D, I love the fact that it's not saturated yet, it is still up and coming so that's the best time to get in on the ground floor and move up. I really thought I was going to move to Atlanta because the A was like a second home to me, but in the end I chose Charlotte because so many ppl in Atl are trying to be put on- too much traffic literally and figuratively.
Umm, for the most part it seems to be clean and er, not yet corrupted. Lots of good looking men, both black and white...and I have never even been attracted to white men but just seem like they dumped a bunch of nice looking ones uptown. The vibe is kind of fresh, not stale. I smell opportunity in the air, lol! But I just haven't quite figured out the where and how to plant myself and find what I am looking for yet.
But you know, opportunity + preparation= success. So that's where i am rt now.
Have you been here yet? Are you contemplating a move?
