What's cute to one, may be ugly to another.

Judging has nothing to do with it.

Because it's all relative. What i may think is ballin, Siren, Creative, Sweetness... or other members may think is broke. Six figures or close to it, is good enough for me. But that doesn't mean anyone below that is broke. Cause hell, then I'M broke! lol But I will not date anyone who makes less than me. Because at least together we'd six figures. 

But ask my aunt who's not making as much as I am...Ooo she'd swear I got it. But to me...I could do better....

I think 45k a year is broke by certain measures just as 100k a year could be broke...I take into consideration how much disposable income does he have that what really determines broke to me because if your making 45k a year but your bills are 1500 then we can do some things cause you can save but if your making 100k a yr and your bills are 7000 a month not to much I can do with you. I think its less about the money and more about the persons expenses cause the more money the more bills

I like how you said it.

i know people who were very rich at some point and flushed it down the drain living "the life" spending money on stupid stuff and I know people who don't make much but do a lot. My friend makes 200K a year, his wife doesn't work and they have one child, he owns his own IT business and invests a big portion of his income. His child attends the best school, they own properties in several countries, and pretty much do what they like without stressing.

Cost of living also plays big role. 45k to some third world country is ultimate balling, while in NY you probably will be eating Ramen Noodles after you paid all the bills.

I would say a man is broke when he cannot pay his bills and can't save/invest.

If he paid his bills, owns his property, invested, saved and has something left to have fun or spend on his woman he is good in my eyes.

It's a true fact that at least 5 years of being a famous NFL football player or NBA basketball player your broke. Because you go from no money to big money and splurge and spend out of control with nothing to show in the end.I just thought I'd share that.It's like all they usual have left is their pension or maybe certain ones don't.But other than that it's a true fact. Just ask.

I agree.  I look at myself and feel that I am broke, but I am debt free, I have no car note, I am able to save, and I am very close to buying a home.  And I make a little less then 45K

 

I think an important thing to look at is debt to income ratio.  Just because your montly bills are low doesn't mean much because many people only pay the minium on their credit cards, student loans, etc.

I have tried dating the "broke" guy and they just make you feel bad especially if you make more than them. So no.. I have alot to offer and bring to the table so I refuse to date a broke guy.

 

Now if you are a broke guy with potential thats something else..but depending on your age I will hope you have already gotten it together. When I was 18 I won't care but at this age there are certain things I won't settle on.

Broke men are broke for a reason. I own my own business and this recession is kicking my ass,....I need a sugah daddy that will invest his heart, love and money into my dreams,....not some mediocre dude around the way. I dont care if he is a "diamond in the rough",...I'm tired of taking raw "diamond",cutting them perfectly,till they shine brilliantly for the world to see,..suddenly they are gone. Hello I AM A Diamond,....it's my turn. Let somebody else baby sit him,....I ain't got time.
