has announced that Basketball Wives, What Chilli Wants and Brandy
and Ray-J: A Family Business has been renewed for a second seasons. The
three made decent amount of ratings for VH1 and will continue.
Basketball Wives will will begin filming its second season this summer.
The finale of the show will air May 30th. Brandy and Ray-J season finale
will air June 27th.
Definitely can't wait for the premier....

RoyceRoyce has been in the spotlight nearly her entire life. Born and raised
in Orlando loving all things sports, she is a former gymnast,
competitive cheerleader, and dancer for professional basketball teams in
both Miami and Orlando. Recently she started her own Burlesque Dance
Company Fantashique which travels all over Florida. The only thing more
colorful than her Fantashique dance moves is her personality. She is a
firecracker, a strong-minded, driven woman who is no stranger to
confrontation. While she's a sweetheart most of the time, Royce can turn
it on in a hot second and rarely bites her tongue. In the future, she
looks forward to pursuing her acting career, finding a new man, and
mixing with the rest of the basketball wives. Her hardest task with the
other wives will be debunking the negative stereotype that the wives
have against team dancers.
JenniferJennifer "Red Carpet" Williams is no stranger to the highlife having
grown up in South Orange, NJ, an upscale suburb just outside of New York
City. So it didn't surprise many when she ended up marrying a wealthy
and successful professional basketball player, Eric Williams, whom she
first met in 2000. Her glitzy lifestyle extends into her professional
life in being a high-end real estate agent and wildly successful
business owner of the upscale women's work out company Flirty Girl
Fitness. Behind all the bling, however, Jennifer supports several
charities and even founded Project Save the World to help fight several
different causes. Jennifer keeps her friends close and guards them
viciously. Her mercurial relationship with hubby Eric shows the unique
challenges and hard work it takes to be the wife of a professional
basketball player.
SuzieNo party in Miami really begins until Suzie Ketcham arrives. Having
lived in New Jersey, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and now Miami, Suzie is
connected all across the country and is the social butterfly of the
basketball wives. She met professional basketball player Michael
Olowokondi while attending college at Pepperdine University and was
pregnant with their first child her senior year in college. They would
have two wonderful children and be together for 10 years before finally
splitting. Having been with an athlete for that long, Suzie knows the
ins and outs of the "game" and is extremely protective and loyal to her
friends. If she senses that one of her ladies is being attacked, she'll
be the first girl on the scene ready to have their back. Now, fresh off
her break up, Suzie has her eyes set on her multiple charities, her
amazing children, her luxury real estate agent ambitions, and of course,
tackling the nightclub scene with her best group of basketball wives.
EvelynEvelyn Lozada was born in Brooklyn, raised in the boogie-down Bronx and
is always in a New York state of mind. Raised solely by her mother, this
Puerto Rican beauty always aspired to break out of her relatively small
world and always dreamt of something bigger and better. Evelyn had her
first taste of the entertainment world when she took a job as an
assistant to a well known entertainment attorney to the stars and would
eventually meet and become engaged to the basketball star, Antoine
Walker. Evelyn moved to her adopted hometown of Miami in 2007 and now
co-owns Dulce (and dulceshoes.net) an upscale shoe boutique located in
Coral Gables, Florida. Dulce now allows Evelyn to live out her childhood
dreams of fashion. In addition to being a socialite that supports many
charitable causes, Evelyn takes great pride in being a devoted mother
and businesswoman. She is highly regarded as a fashionista and style
trendsetter. Even before she founded Dulce, Evelyn was photographed not
just because of ex-fiancé's game, but because of her own impressive
"shoe game".
GloriaThrough her sister, who was a highly touted basketball player, at the
age of only 12 years old, Gloria Govan would meet the man whom she will
soon marry, Matt Barnes. After several years apart, Matt and Gloria
would reconnect when he played near Gloria's hometown of Oakland. The
two fell madly in love and now have twin 16-month-old boys. At the young
age of 24, aside from planning the upcoming wedding of her dreams,
Gloria is also focused with businesses outside of basketball and is
heavily involved in several charities including Matt's very own Athletes
Vs Cancer. Her storybook relationship always seems to be questioned by
the rest of the women who feel that it's maybe "too" perfect to be true.
Her hardest task is fitting in with the rest of the women who are
several years older and who constantly question her naïveté. Whether she
even cares what the others think is another matter!

Tammy is out of line, I mean really. I remember being in jr. high when she was on the Real World and I thought she was messy back then, she's still a fool now. Her ex-husband just seems crackish to me. I feel for her daughters, they are cute girls being humiliated on TV.
Royce-love her. I think she's cute, needs to pick better outfits, but still cute.
Suzie isn't that bad to me. If Evelyn would have carried herself like a grown woman on her trip there would be no business to tell. And I agree with Suzie, Evelyn released her own pictures, or she had someone she knows do it for her.
Shaunie is full of s***, I finally saw the entire episode where she confronted Gloria about Laura and she was out of line for that. She is such a coward and a phony, if she really wanted to get an apology for what happened between Shaq and Laura, she should have gone to Shaq and Laura. Stop picking on someone's kid sister to get your kicks, your MARRIAGES failed, you dumped one for another one and shouldn't be surprised that he was f****** someone else. Just take the money and keep it moving.
Jennifer, I feel for her. I know she's trying to act like she doesn't care, but she has to be worried/hurting. I think she's the prettiest one, I wish she'd get away from Evelyn and not stay up under her. Evelyn just wants her to be single and miserable like she is.
And I can't STAND Evelyn. For her to be so physically attractive, she has an ugly ass personality. She is such a petty child, arguing with people about something that happened on a trip. Get over it! She acts like Suzie did something to one of her children or burned her house down. Her face is always scrunched up like she can't relax and be happy for 5 minutes. You can see the worry/frustration in her forehead before she even speaks. Just smile for 10 damn seconds! Then you wouldn't need all of those chemical peels and all that make up and light hair to look younger.

Remember Tammy when was dragged on the carpet with no clothes on from the Real World and the stories of her and her mother being homeless and sleeping in cars at a certain point. Can recall, when she had the fairy tale wedding. And, now 15 years later this back to black. Geesh, life is full of ups and downs. Her oldest daughter looks just like her and ALL of their weaves like atrocious. At the end of the day… *shrugs*
So what about Jennifer, calling her husband at the top of the morning just to hear his phone go straight to voicemail. Then called back, just to hear that the voicemail is full so she can’t leave a message. And then they don’t have sex nor spend time together. Her gut told her as she was walking down the aisle that there would be trouble. Alone in a relationship is NOT a good feeling… and trust me I’ve been there.

so i'm watching the basketball wives marathon, and i just re-watched when Evelyn got really upset when she found out that Al Reynolds knew about Vegas. some of her comments made me pause, like when she said "i'm single, but Jennifer's not...what if some stuff got back to Eric..." umm....wtf were they doing out there? having threesomes? cause if Evelyn was going wild or doing whatever, what does that have to do with Jennifer?
