*I'm not sure if there was a post about this but I'm to lazy to look*

What are some good places to meet men in New York? When I say men I mean working class suit & tie men middle to upper class. Not ones who make minimum wage but men who have there own place & a car is a must. I just turned 21 a month ago & want to meet nice guys who like to travel & go to fancy places & ones who don't mind treating me to nice gifts. I would also like some tips on how to get things from men before I decide to have sex with them.

To be real with you (anyone can disagree with this), you are probably not going to find a man within your age range in ny that has his own place and a car because most younger guys I know that live there or are from there live with their family no matter how much money they make annually and elect to take the train instead of buying a car (that damn train is why so many new Yorkers dont have drivers licenses). If you're okay with an older male baller, familiarize yourself with the premium shopping locations and restaurants... Frequent them around lunchtime and you're sure to find and be approached by plenty of businessmen (appear approachable). Getting things from men without sex is easy as long as you appear to be genuine, caring, basically angel-like... Act like you dont need his help and don't ever ask or put your hand out and he will feel compelled to help you anyway "save a hoe mentality"... I'm not the user type now but a few years back, I got the most gifts when I acted totally aloof, like the sweetest girly girl they knew but at the same time, acting like they were disposable. Honestly, sex never ruined my chances of getting anything, if anything, it made them more giving and anxious to keep me satisfied so theyd continue getting the sex but it's really all in what youre comfortable with

Honestly, you sound a little too immature/unseasoned to attract the kind of man that you described.  ESPECIALLY if you're asking the wrong questions (which you are)...I say grow a little bit, explore the city on your own, and you'll find what you're looking for.

Giving you names of restaurants, lounges, bars etc. to frequent is not going to do you any good if you don't know how to carry yourself and if you clearly look out of place.  You'll probably get f---d and that's about it.  So I say study savvy women you would like to emulate and learn from.

Confidence + sexy + smart = you attract millionaire men

I agree with Sissy to a certain degree. I live in NYC and find that the men here are either generous or nice, there's not to many with both qualities.

Also, when you change your friends, you may find yourself running into these guys you speak of. You should be the girl they want to help because you have amazing goals that you're ALREADY acting on. They will invest in your future if they know you have one.

Baje Fletcher wrote a good book on the lifestyle you're talking about but she also suggests activities that build your intellect and give for good convo in a group of people. Investing, Art, Real Estate, and whatnot.  And since you live in NYC you should download Meetup(an app for groups) and add a few Investment Club and Art meetups in the city. You'l; meet those people who will introduce you to others and soon you'll be among that crowd with out meeting them at a restaurant with the look of "I need a baller" in your eyes.

*sorry for the novel

Yall give the best advice!!!  What's the name of that book, I have to check it out.

A Gold Digger's Guide.

First you should know that owning a car in NYC is not that important and if you live in NY you should already know that. Am not sure how you look and if you will be able to blend but go around the financial district during lunch time or happy hour and you will see alot of suits but not all suits mean money. Also the gym and art events are a great way to meet guys

Oh lawd, I may have to buy this one.  I think they are gonna look at me crazy if I try to check this out at the library, hell I doubt they even have it! LOL

Thank you & I do know that but every guy I've ever went on a date with or dated has a car.
