honestly if I am in love with him what choice do I have?
As long as I pop out some kids I'll be straight off of child support

I would sign, no problem. I think they benefit both parties involved. I would have my attorney look over it, add a couple of clauses of my own and we will be good. Prenups are contigency plans. You always need an exit strategy.

I have no problem signing a prenup....in this day and age and for the things I plan on achieving it can prtoect me as well...Nothing is wrong with it.

Now a days it seems as if they all get Pre-Nups, but they still end up getting that GUAP in the end! Me personally, don't have any problems with signing a pre-nup if it came down to it! Because I'mma stack that bread while we married!

I would sign - it only protects what you have going in...I would not have a set amount I can get if we divorce (unless its one hell of lump sum) and non of that sliding scale crap...

I would try my best to get around signing a pre-nup (especially if he is worth less than 1 million). Anyone worth over 1 million I'll feel better about signing, but my attorney and I are going over that sucker line by line and there will definitely be a clause for making it over the 10 year mark (we also may have to consider moving to a community property state).
Divorces get ugly and when you talk money forget about it, a ninja will try to give you as little as he can get away with, if he gives you anything at all. I'll be damned if I have to start over with whatever he deems appropriate....after you vowed to love, honor and cherish me...

I would sign and the only clause would be to provide for any kids that we may have together. I have always been independent financially and self-sufficent so it would not be a problem for me to survive sans hubby.

I have NO problem signing a pre-nups. I live in California...and anything that WE gain during the marriage is community property; so, any assets BEFORE the marriage, is his as well as any assets of mine are separate UNLESS the person states otherwise.

Besides, ladies by him asking for a pre-nups could just be a test to see how you react to the question.

Pre-nup. Sure! In fact, it is likely that I would make any hubby of mine sign a pre-nup unless he was coming into it with a lot more than me. I don't want a man comin' after me for half of MY house!! ; )

I'm against pre nups....I feel if a pre nup has to be involved what are we getting married for? I mean seriously....if you think I just want your money or vice versa, we shouldn't be walking down the aisle.

Right. A lot of marriages these days are business arrangements anyway. Just like you can fall in love with someone, you can fall out of love with them. Nothing wrong with protecting your assets if that day should come.
