Tks Siren. I'm impressed with the kids being tested 5 grades higher. I'm googling her for more info. She's  African American, how come I haven't heard of her? The was a TV Movie about her, The Marva Collins Story, I have to get it.

You know what? I heard about that movie but didn't know who she was so I didn't bother to watch. Awesome quote, $picey.

I love it, there is a famous japaneeze method of teaching children, i believe Suzuki method, basically they believe that everyone is born talented and it's only because children are not being taught and encouraged from the very early age they loose their abilities. My mom is running the early development school, she has children who are 2 y.o drawing amazing paintings and recognizing all the instruments in classical symphonies along with who wrote them, they also do yoga poses and dance very good. There is one 3 y.o. that reads on the 2nd grader level, i wouldn't believe if i didn't see it with my own eyes.

Oh that is awesome! One of my goddaughters was learning Spanish just watching Dora. When I said you all need to get her into a (insert name of good preschool with tuition) they said they didn't have money for all that. But they dress this child in clothes to die for. They have money for fashion but not education. My people, sometimes smh.
