So.... i finally made it to NOLA about a month ago, but I still haven't discovered the hot spots to go and where to be seen (so far I know of a supermarket that's a hot spot for celeb sightings lol). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Even if you don't know where to meet ballers if you have been to the city and know of some fun/exciting activities to partake in that would be good as well.

Hang around the shops downtown and the Saks on Canal. TONS of ballers eat dinner at the Morton's Steakhouse right there near the Saks and the river walk. Whiskey Blue bar at the W hotel, any VIP sections in Harrahs, NV, Republic, Etc. The cute restaraunts and bistros on St. Charles keep corporate ballers.

I used to hang out at the Fairgrounds & catch the horse races...Gold Rooms and Black Gold rooms have a salary requirement to gamble there. Jockeys are balling, and if you're not that tall that could work for you. Lol A lot of annoying old horny guys hang there, so you have to learn to avoid those. I have a friend that lives in the apartments on Poydras above the yogurt shop across from WalkOns, and I've personally rode the elevator there with Michael Ealy (passes out in remembrance) who live(Ed)(s) there. There are a few other celebs that live in that area. You'll rarely find anything in Metairie, and avoid the Westback at all costs.

You can always recognize the local stunnas by their aggressive game & slick lines. A Nola dude gives himself away every time.
