What's up with this new trend? I've never had anything against tattoos but people have seriously lost their minds. What kind of example are we setting for our children. America has gotten really lazy in terms of leading younger generations. Notice I didn't say "role model" because celebrities often get offended when labeled as such. I would also never refer to any of these coons as such, so it goes both ways. We are all on the same page when it comes to that term. However, our youth are very impressionable so there has to be some kind of accountability. Throughout the years, we have fought so hard for respect and equality. It bothers me that someone would intentionally make the decision to limit themselves and their chance for greater success. Is this all you want for yourself? Nowadays, everyone wants to be in the industry. If you choose to go that route, why would you not try to take advantage of all opportunities available to you. Gucci, Baby, Wayne, and Game and so many others. Do they have their future in mind when they are tatting up their faces or better yet, their kids future. I wish my daddy would have gone to my school or anywhere that required a suit with a damn tattoo on his face! If it is so great; why did Fifty and Pharrell have their tats removed? Ummm, maybe they became business moguls that want to be taken seriously and not just rappers. These are just my thoughts, what are yours?

I totally agree with you... I started gettin tatted when it wasn't as excepted or trendy. It's art to me and very much apart of who I am. With that being said, all of my tattoos have meaning and are covered at every meeting. The tattoos that I see on some of these kids are absolutely ridiculous smh...All of them aren't going to be musicians or professional athletes or even get a job where it's excepted. They aren't thinking long term like I was. I had to make sure that all of my tattoos could be covered when needed. You've made such a great point when you said there's no longer a such thing as role models smh. I saw a picture where a woman got a penis tattooed in between her breast lmao

Tattoos can look cute, sometimes. I'd never get one, not for me. 50 Cent and Pharell will never have to answer to anybody about a 'job'. And the removal is painful, I've read. Wonder why they got that? I mean I'd like an explanation on that - Pharrel (sp) has respect his talent is insane.. I think 50 does not care what others think of him...Maybe 50 did it for his 'movie roles'??
I love Nicole Richie's tattoos on her, she also said oddly if her daughter got any tattoos it would hurt her emotionally ..odd.. I hate Kelly Osbourne's tattoos which are similar they look bad because she is so ugly,even after the weight loss. Megan Fox has some crazy tattoos they are like prison tattoos. Angelina Jolie has half as much as Wayne LOL!
Game and Gucci? Gucci makes me sick nothing to do with tattoos. Wayne makes me sick he has the money to never have to answer to anybody ever I'm sure for the rest of his life. I love a lot of the NBA players tattoos and Chris Brown's tattoos. I think Game has a small Ciroc deal and is doing well in Europe. Alot of D-1 college players have a ton of tattoos and some are not good enough to make it to the NBA. Allen Iverson they say started the trend for basketball? I don't know. Aside from the 'wedding ring tattoo' does Jay-z have lots of tattoos?

Well since I posted my response, I've seen they released him with no mental health issues. He has to go back to court and may face 13 months. So next time he pleas insanity his face tatt of 3 scoops of ice cream with the lightening bolt should help his insanity plea.
