Should I Over Cross the Friend Boundary? :-/
Hey Ladies, I really need your opinions on my situation.
I have been ONLY FRIENDS, with this particular "baller athlete" for 2years now.We have never did anything sexual or anything in that category.I met him through a mutual friend, and me and him have always just kept it that way. But, for the past year and a half he have been making advances at me , and asking to take me out on another level other then friends. He is a really nice guy when I am around,but a few people have gave me negative feedback on him about the relationship category. My friends and everyone else thinks that we sleep together and things,because when we are out he does not really like other guys talking to me. But in the same breathe he would be with one of his little females at the times he would feel some kind of way when he see me talking to other guys. I tried, to pair him up with my best friend and she came back to me saying "Now why would you try to hook me up with your sloppy seconds,knowing he want you". He always says things like "One day you're going to fall in love with me watch and you're not going to know what to do" or "One day you gone realize how good of an opportunity you are passing up" I always laugh and say what ever.Honestly, I really don't want to ruin our friendship and change that connection between us two. But honestly, I do at times when we are alone or something find myself wanting to over cross that "friend" boundary. So should I: chance our friendship or should I just leave the situation alone.

That's a tough question! I actually had this happened and I ended up regretting it I realized he was a better friend than boyfriend even though we do still speak it's not how it use to be, but if it's something you're ready for I say go for it

See thats the problem..Like he is a great friend, I know for a fact he spends money, but I have heard how he comes off nice and once you get to the other side he's an a******.As long as I have known him, I have not ever seen that side of me.Maybe I should just stay a friend to play it safe. Why did you guys not end so greatly?

He is HOE....Chicks go crazy over him..Maybe Ill just listen to the negatives and stay friends.

But how do you consider yourselves friends if he has feelings for you?
I hate when men try to play the friend role until I'm vulnerable enough to be with them. Or as my girl puts it "playing second until first becomes available." I'd feel like all his advice, all of his action and whatnot would be biased because he likes me. I know he's YOUR friend, but he wants you to be HIS girl.

The fact that he's trying his hand is what i don't like. Lol (like I know you personally).
But I only consider 2 guys real friends because they have never tried me.
I thought i had a real good guy friend, til he tried me when he thought we were both drunk. I mean, I was drunk, but not enough that I didn't realize what was happening. I've never been cool with him the same way.
But then there are the two that I (think I) have...what if they just haven't said anything, but if I tried them, they'd do it...?
Idk girl. I still haven't figured it out. But I know that I wouldn't TRY someone I considered a friend.
