I gotta a lil situation ladies...so last week my friend called me and asked me did I wanna hang out with her and I asked her" where?" she's like "a friend of a friend house" and then she names this nba player that she knows and that I've heard of, im like "oh" now I've seen this dude around in the clubs and he's fine, tall, sexy, nice lips and I've talked to him a few times, and she really wanted me to go so im like cool, shes like that he's not on that b******* I've already let. Him know. So we get over to the nba dudes house, everything is cool were drinking, me and the nba dude is talking, laughing or whatever, he's cool. We leave exchange numbers and we have been talking alot and he asked me did I wanna go out when he gets back into town, the problem is that me and his best friend used to have a lowkey" friends with benefits" relationship only a few people knew my bestfriends knew and his godbrother knew but nobody else, we haven't f***** with each other in awhile and i didn't know him and the nba dude were friends until last year. So idk if I should tell dude that me and his homie used to get down and keep it strictly platonic or go with the flow and let it play it out im not looking for anything serious just wanna have fun and ummm it doesn't help that he's ballin.But, I am leaning towards telling him just to protect myself, because around these parts ill get labeled a hoe, homie hopper sooo quick even if I didn't sleep with ol dude this city is too damn small!

You don't have to say anything Mesa. If his best friend tells him, then he tells him, big f***** deal. Just don't have sex with the NBA player because no matter what, they're going to pat themselves on the back like they passed you around, and you don't want to be that girl. Be friends/platonic like you said. If he wants more from you, it needs to be in terms of a real monagamous, exclusive, committed relationship. If he brings up you and the best friend, tell him in no uncertain terms "that was a mistake I made in my past, having sex without having a committed relationship. I promised myself I'm not ever doing that again" (whether that's true or a lie, tell his ass that) and continue to hang out with him. It's not that difficult.
I think women talk too damn much, always sharing when it's unnecessary. Dudes don't say s*** and let it all play out. All you have to do is carry yourself like a lady and don't hand out the p**** to every guy that wants it and you'll be alright. Be discerning about what you say and who you give your body to. Very simple.
