I'm a product junkie..I probably have over a hundred products in my closet in my bathroom. I have a question about products for face.

Do you ladies switch up on what you use for your face? Seems like the products I have been using are not working for me anymore...

If there's a differnce in your life that's why. The climate in MIA is different from DC. Also maybe your diet, stress, weight/gain. Are any of your products out dated? Etc etc...

i have tons of products as well. im ALWAYS switching up and trying new facial products.

however, sometimes the skin can become immune or resistance to a product over time. i have used products that stopped working because my skin has gotten used to it...

I am always switching up products, but I recently copped that Clarisonic face scrubber and I am in love with it. It really works. I am currently trying out this preventative anti-aging product from Korres that is working well. I have the night cream and the day cream. It's called Quecetrin Oak, I think. It seems to be working really well so far.

For my face, I stick to a Noxzema pad once or twice a week, get in a hot shower to clear my pores with the steam and Fruit of the earth cocoa butter lotion (this is super cheap, bottom shelf at Walmart). But I believe the your body gets use to products, if after a while the products don't seem to be working, that product was just masking the problem and not really giving you the long lasting results it promised. Over time you should be able to use the minimal amount of product and not have a problem, esp when it come to your face. Good Luck

If the over the counter products are no longer working you might want to check a dermatologist bf you try anymore products and possibly get an allergic reaction. Some over the counter products only mask the problem for a short period of time. Check a dermatologist, preferably of African or Hispanic descent since they are most familiar with our skin. You won't be disappointed. Over the counter might work for someone else but when and if you have hormonal issues or stress you will need to check a dermatologist ASAP

Your face, body, etc. change over time so you do need to switch up your regimen from time to time. But not like every other week, we are talking years. As we age we NEED to add moisture to our skin. It's imperative! I like to use products that are the most natural.

Yeah you get brand new skin over time. Every 7 years you start over.

I change every season. And ladies, I don't have on any foundation in that pic, only eyeliner and gloss. People always ask if I have on foundation. I go from $50 to $5. I pay more in the Winter. You just have to find what works for you. Cut out soda. Limit alcohol also, it takes a toll on your skin. I don't use soap on my face at all, I don't care if it's black, cocoa or shea. Cream cleasners, to me, give you more balance.

I changed products last month, sales girl caught me in the mall. It's good stuff though, I was quite surprised and pleased. As soon as I see the products no longer working I'm on the hunt for new ones.
