Bonne Bell Ten O Six is really good! It's a mild astringent and it helps get rid of blackheads and other stuff. I use to buy it from Walgreens, but I don't see it anymore. You can still order if online. It's not expensive and it really works!! Makeupalley.com

Before u get on accutane and u are on yaz do more research i have a video on youtube u should watch reverse acne with natural medicine by dr. schenck,ND see a naturopathic doctors before u take accutane or some other harsh drugs and im not sure where u live but in Los Angeles there is a place called beverly hills rejuvenation center the website is bhrcenter.com

Im in the same exact situation as you Lashawn. I have acne and alot of scars. It has gotten really bad in the last two months. So my doctor put me on yaz. But in a couples of months I will start accutane. Have you considered accutane? Its supposed to be a last resort when nothing else helps.

I needed something to give me that flawlwss look since i rarely wear make-up, I tried Ambi, and left my skin glowing.

1.Using a face scrubbing pad like the one pictured above with a salicylic acid face wash (Neutrogena,Avon,clean and clear etc.) while having a hot shower will help. Let the water wash over your face for a minute or two before working the wash into a lather on the scrub pad and then applying it to your face.

2.Uneven skin might be from spotting and scarring from the pimples. A skin tone evening cream will help with that. For really bad spots use a banishing cream only on the spots not all over.

3. Heavy makeup should be avoided even though you might be tempted to cover up pimples with them.

4. Do a makeup spring cleaning. Go through all of your face creams,foundations,compacts and do a sniff test. If they smell a little odd toss them out. If you have had them over a year (I prefer 6 months but we are in a recession ;P) toss them out.I try to buy face creams/lotions and foundations that come with a pump so that I don't have to put my fingers in the jar and contaminate the contents.

5. Wash your makeup brushes in cool water with a makeup brush wash or baby shampoo and allow them to air dry in a good clean spot.

6.Are you a picker? If you are then stop. Are you a toucher? Some people don't even know that they touch their face when they are bored. It is like twirling your hair around your finger. I used to and stopped but my sister didn't and when I told her that as soon as she stops touching her face her pimples would go away or become less severe she listened and it really helped.

I do not use any harsh chemicals on my face. I don't use soap at all. I never used soap on my son's face either and he has avoided teen acne, so far so good.

You may want to start out with a facial. That will clear up any blackheads & whiteheads, and it will also clean your pores. Next, you may want to invest in a Clarisonic brush. I plopped down the dinero and haven't looked back since. I notice a tremendous difference in my skin. Will it give you perfect flawless skin? Maybe, but it will definitely elevate what you were born with to the highest level. To even out your complexion, you may want to try a serum. I like natural products. Korres has one that has been working wonders on my skin. It is called Wild Rose Brightening Serum. It doesn't bleach your skin, it just evens it out in a settle manner. Now, to keep your acne at bay, you may want to try a natural herbal remedy. I have seen this one work firsthand. There is an herb called Cerasee. You need to boil it and drink it. I use Neutrogena Visibly Even face wash (retails for like 6 or 7 bux) and the SPF daily moisturizer (btwn 11-12 bux)...keeps the skin smooth and it helps out the unevenness. It works for me but different products work for different people. I've never really had acne throughout my teen years, I guess I was fortunate. Just a few blemishes here and there. But when I tried Visibly Even (I think Gabrielle Union used to be on the commercial a while back), it worked wonders. And I also use another over the counter zit cream called "Zapzyt" lol it's pretty good as well.
