I don't surf, and do other water sports often because i'm scared of drowning....I can't swim :(. That being said, I come from a childhood of camping trips, hiking, fishing, just out door activities so it's nothing to me. It's fun especially when you do it with people you enjoy being around. Don't get me wrong I like fancy restaurants and spas like the next girl but there is more to life then malls and clubs. When I do things with guys like this they do look at me funny like they didn't expect it though.

Well I'm scared to get in anything besides a shower and a shampoo bowl. I have color in my hair and cholorine, color, and salt water do not mix.

Girl i love camping too....iWish I had girlfriends that did...iSwear the chicks around me are so simple sometimes it p***** me off

Awww damn yea I guess I limit myself because I do NOT Do anything that invovles me not being able to touch my feet! Lol! I can't swim though lol! buuuut yea Ive never been camping ever! lol! I want to though, but I can't go sswimming, I've had too many bad experinces with water lol

Hello I'm a black woman and those are my kind of activities. :-) I grew up doing those things. I haven't really done any water activities because of an event that happened some years back that developed into a fear, but I want to conquer that. Like Candy said, they can be fun if you have the right people around who won't bring drama.

Its rare to find a brother that's interested in those activities! Lol.. lately I've been opening myself up to more outdoor activites because my son enjoys them.

What part of the country is he in? I think he is a rarety as well as a black female liking those things is a rarety. I grew up at the beach...boogie boarding, enjoying water sports and so it is natural for me. I can't say that as a grown woman I meet allot of blacks that like that kind of thing, but there are some. Just as all things if he searches long enough he will find her.

I love the water...but I have a "swim wig" that's takes the fuss outta dealin with my natural hair lol. Outdoorsie activities are not my cup of tea though. I don't like wildlife (except for birds and fish) I'm not camping unless I have a fully stocked cabin bc I know its just my luck to be attacked by a bear or rabit coyote...as long as I have a roof over my head I'm ok. But the wilderness is not my best friend

Yes!!! We went to Miami this summer... After the Manchild finished up at the school we chilled in the lobby at the fontainebleu... The pool was full... And my nephew was the first to point out that the black chicks sat on the edges of the pool, or if they got in they held the wall up, while the white chicks were in it to win it... The pool was packed so it wasn't like people were swimming' but the white chicks didn't care if they got slashed or whatever... A 10 year old pointed it out...

Lol.. it is like sometimes. Yes am that chick you will see chillin around the pool with heels on. There is a time and place for everything because other times I dive it forgetting that I will have hair issue later. I love the outfdoor activities especially water sports.
