Chris Brown’s reps say Jay-Z did not keep Chris from performing a Michael Jackson tribute at the BET Awards this weekend. They say Chris was never confirmed to perform in the first place so all the rumors all false:
Brown — who’s been low-key since beating up his ex-girlfriend (and Jay-Z’s artist), Rihanna, earlier this year — was supposed to take part in a Michael Jackson tribute. But a source said, “Jay-Z wasn’t having it. He threatened to pull out of the show if Chris was involved, so BET dropped Chris.” A rep for Brown said, “That’s not true — he was never confirmed to perform.”

I think he should have performed, MJ is just as widely known for his dancing and there was none at the BET awards (unless you want to count Keri Hilson's Elvis Pressley moves which were suppose to be her MJ imitation I believe *insert 2 sad faces*). . Chris Brown killed it when he did it over at MTV and he's the only person in the game right now that can dance and sing, I'm talking about really dance, not that two-step stanky-super-laffytaffy-bobbi-berry stuff (had to combine all the dance songs). The dancing is what a lot of people love about Michael. And it would have been good for CB, to get his life started again.
I love my Black people, but I bet if MTV does a tribute it will be soooo off the chain!!!

Chris Brown is still a teenager, he still has alot 2 learn! If he was 25+, then yeah give him hell. He made a mistake & is learning from it. Trust, when or if they do an official tribute show, he will be performing. At least I hope he will.

This? It says special word on the "tweet" Breezy is opening the show...Which sounds like they got that same rumor everyone else received via the tweeter world.Doesn't seem like much of a confirmation, but sounds like they were hoping it was true and spreading it so more people would be interested.
