I've had these convos with men too.  Yeah, mind blowing, especially considering the s*** they want out of a woman.  Me and girlfriend of mine were talking about this today in fact.  Nowadays men and women have their roles f'ed up. SMH

I get so tired of hearing that too high standard ish, this dude is like a brother said my standards are too high cuz I don't want a "regular dude". Nothing about my man should be regular, and he should not want just any ole regular girl. Keep them standards the way they are, nobody wants an apple from the ground. They get ladders to climb to the top to pick the best. AND I find that it's usually BUM BOYS that say that too high ish....I be like, u aint qualify anyway lol

Pretty much what I highlighted. Install an internal nigg-ignore button. Whenever a dude starts talking that nonsense press that button, nod and smile, and keep it moving. There are plenty of quality men out there. Don't let the riff-raff drag you down to their level.

It is the duty of every woman of quality, skin color unimportant, to make men put forth their best. Otherwise, we would all still be sitting in caves wrapped in woolly mammoth fur. Believe that!

THIS! If bishes would stop f****** for Happy meals and held men to a higher standard before giving it up. They wouldn't be talking about our standards are high. Some broads need to get some standards!

Exactly! The ones that are doing whatever to keep a piece of a man are f****** it up for the rest of us! Men's standards are way higher and so much more ridiculous than ours.

It has nothing to do with a man being a bum. The fact is many women have unrealistic standards.

Now us...meaning black people...have different preferences. For instance, have you ever seen a middle eastern or hispanic or any other culture with deep family values allow their sons to move out of the home until theyve achieved some sort of financial stability? I work with a guy right now who just moved out him moms house at 33. But he owns 8 buildings and finally had enough money and STABILITY to buy a home for cash.  At times I believe black women/black men are on two different wavelengths...then again I see how my gf acted towards me when i said i was selling my home and staying at one of the family apts until we move out of state and she simply said smart move honey.
