Don't worry or fret why he stood you up and don't take it personal. At some point in your life you will probably need to do the same to someone else without an explanation. It's not nice but sometimes it's necessary.

I will be blocking that number.  I was with the same man since age 14, married at 19...Im 32 now. So yeah Im new to the dating scene. I know, I know, all my good years gone. Heard it all from family. So if you guys have dating tips I sure will need them. Thanks

Not at all they're just beginning... My advice is to have fun, date more than one guy at a time, and if you like what you see go for it... Good luck!

Sorry to go against the grain yall, but I would not have deleted him right after he stood me up. It just shows in my opinion that he really got to her.....maybe even hurt her feelings. I never give them the satisfaction if I am bothered. I Just ignore him and keep it moving. Hell, let him read how exciting my life still is even without him lol

Nah, u gotta delete for immediate closure. Who cares what he thinks? Maybe he did get to her, but is shows him she's over it and she doesn't need that a$$h*** in her life.

Did you say at 32 all your good years are gone?  Girl bye! 

I'm 32, fabulously fierce and in the BEST years of my life.  It's all about attitude, how you feel about yourself and knowing what you want.  You may not want to date at all for a while.  Get used to being single, get comfortable with it...then try dating out.

Baby steps...  you'll be alright. :-)

In the mean time, delete that guy and never talk to him again.

I feel at my best now cause I know what I want and wont settle. Im a solo
chick, I will go anywhere by myself and enjoy me. So yeah I agree the best

Honey, you have plenty of good years left. Just ignore this guy and keep it moving. His not calling you was a perfect wake up call to let you know he's not considerate of your time and doesn't need you. No excuse is good enough for standing someone up.
