Tough decision. If you don't care about the stigma that comes along with it, do you. Just realize that people will always judge you and you will be exposing yourself to danger. It all depends on what you want out of life and what road you take to get there.

True...it did seem like a lot of money...and I'm most def not down with the extracurricular activities...

Regardless, you have to live with your choices. Many of the girls do drugs. If they aren't "rollin'" they're drunk. All those girls didn't start grimey and whorish...they started using additives to numb the internal pain. Many will deny this. I'm just giving you a honest observation. Good luck in whatever choice you make.

If you need the money do what you have to do, I'm not sure which city you live in, but out here in Vegas girls usually start stripping and end up doing adult videos and escorting because they get seduced by the easy money. If you've never been to a strip club before you won't believe some of the stuff that goes on in those private rooms. I was at Scores once waiting for a friend and a guy offered me $1500 to have sex with him. As far as how people will view you, that depends on the kind of circles you run in. I don't think I'd broadcast the fact that I was stripping, there's not that much respect for the hustle. Anyways best of luck and if you take the job, please be safe, there's all kinds of weirdos who hang out at those clubs.

Well 1st of all let me start off by saying I'm a dancer/entertainer(not stripper-there is a difference). I'm not sure what city you are in but those aren't really realistic numbers. An average night for me might be 500. Now there have been nights where i've left with nothing after paying "tipout"(u have 2 pay the club 2 work in there) & I've left with almost 2000.00(just dancing for inquiring minds since a lot of people confuse dancers with prostitutes even though there are a lot of prostitutes posing as strippers). everything has its ups & downs. I also travel & dance(like for superbowl, allstar, big conventions, etc) but at my home club I average about 2000.00 weekly(more or less) so its great income for looking pretty & basically doing the same thing that women are doing in nightclubs(just w/ less clothes or naked in some states). The rap songs have made "strippers & strip clubs" cool & all the pole dancing classes & strip work outs. to sum it up if u want to do it go for it....its not what you do its how you do it.

So true....one of my girls that I go to school with works at Tootsies....She told me she doesn't mind the dancing the part she hates is when you have to go in the backrooms and give blow jobs.....I was like ...ok..Anyhoo..Kj if your going to do it please go to a white club...I would think that would be better than a black club...and dont tell anyone not even your friends(side.eye).

Dont let them fool you. Most of that money come from tricking NOT dancing!!! That fast money sounds easy, but trust, it aint all what its cracked up 2 be. I never was a stripper but have friends & family that use to be involved. Dont matter what city u from, if ur just dancing, u will be lucky to make $500! So u should really analyze this & ask urself is it worth it!!

It's not about what other people's views are, it's about you. If you think you would be compromising your morals then don't do it. Personally, I say go for it bc it's good money and those hours work well with a school schedule. Just be careful. Make sure t least one of your friends knows what's up for your safety (preferably a male) and don't think them other bitches are your friends bc they're not. No matter how long you work there - don't trust them hoes they always out to get the one making more bread than them ;) lol.

Just be careful. I know two people that have worked at strip clubs (one a bartender, the other cocktailing) and they both said it was the best money they ever made. One said she even made more than some of the dancers cocktailing.
