The Clarity of an Old Broad
I'm so disappointed within myself. I can not believe that I engaged in an the exchange that occured a yesterday and before. While that ish was VERY FUNNY to me lol I feel that even responding to some of those comments was so beneath me. Like in my mind my class points have gone down lol! Anyway, I do feel I owe an apology to.....Boss! I apologize for sullying up ur site wit those exchanges.
The very crux of the 'debate' was substantial in my opinion and I don't regret defending it. We as black women have to maintain our confidence in ourselves because it is under attack from every angle. Who our men date is no real refection on us as women, its simply a choice that they are free to make. I hope through all my foul language, a reader was able to take away that conclusion.
Lastly, imo, men chose women that they connect with, not the trophy seekers, but men wanting a woman to compliment and complement do this. The part of the debate over pretty and etc was soooo trivial because of the subjective nature of 'beauty.' Imo
While I may have to take it there for an ignorant and, ah hem young commenter, I know that exchanges of that nature are not reflective of the woman I am seeking to become.

Girl bye.. me being an "old broad" myself I was appalled at some of the views expressed by the "young broad"
When I read that stupid s*** it made me thank god for my wisdom...lol
One thing we ALL have in common is that we will get older and we will die... that same "young broad" will be older one day. Let's just hope she gets some knowledge and wisdom and will be able to school the young on her experiences.
Sometimes you just have to sit back and laugh at the stupid s*** that comes out.. lol We have all been there including me. I wish I listened back in the day.. I learned the hard way.

Girl!! F*** her... I was by myself for the longest trying to defend my thoughts and views on the subject. The audacity of that trash to try to be "offended" after she read things the way she wanted to, so her lil angry ass could have a reason to be mad. At the end of the day, none of us owed her any explanation but I think we all wanted her to honestly learn something. Some just gotta learn the hard way...
