My definition of soul mate is the person who loves and accepts you as you are, who is perfect for YOU, and who tugs at your heart like nobody's business. I do agree that NO ONE will be 100% of what you WANT, but can be 80% of what you NEED.

I didn't believe in soul mates until I thought I found mine. The chemistry from the beginning was so natural. We felt like we have been together for decades even though we just met. I have never felt so .....everything!!! about anyone in my life. But he has issues at the moment and so do I.....so our timing was just off and for no real reason it didn't end but it also didn't last. Maybe we can revisit it in the future.......or maybe I'll marry someone else that will grow on me over time. Now, after that, I really don't believe in soul mates. If they existed then it should have worked becuase our souls wanted it to regardless of how imperfect we are........right???

A soul mate is not your exact match. They have everything you are missing and they thus you make each other whole.
The 100% match is your twin flame. They were thought to be created (their soul) at the same time. Like God took one soul and split into two people.
It is highly unlikely you will meet your twin soul in your life time but anything is possible.

I may be a bitter ass bitch but I dont believe in a soul mate for me .. Just whn I do things fall apart badly and I pretty much said Eff it w the whole soul mate idea
