Whether she is doing it for herself or her man it's a very bad idea. Personally I would not want to share whoever I am with, with anyone, who does that. Personally I would not be able to give my all to both and sex for me is very personal, I don't just f*** anybody. There are lots of things that could happen, you might feel disgusted with yourselves for engaging in a threesome, insecurities could surface, women who may never have had any experience with a woman could get turned out by another woman, people coud be sleeping with eachother behind your back because they liked the sex so much with the third party, if you engage in a threesome what else will the other person want you to do. Too many damn negatives to be thinking about a threesome. Trust me if you care for someone and they care for you it wouldn't even discussed.

I had a good friend who was married (she married the man she was cheating with while he was married divorced his wife and married her) so he is a known cheater. She went as far as to ask me if I would have a threesome with her and her hubby she is bisexual and he knows. She even said that he said it was okay for them to have a threesome with another man (raised eyebrow). I politely declined the offer but she found someone else she met on the internet to participate. They have a open relationship and they sleep with different people so I assume that a threesome didn't hurt their relationship.

@Pretty...it didn't hurt it but i'm sure it hasn't helped it either. so what's the point of having a relationship if it's an "open relationship"...idk, just my thoughts.

i can't understand why on earth people want to be married AND be in an open relationship. someone help me to understand. just be single and running around doing whatever. in the very near future (as its becoming more and more disrespected by married people and outside forces) marriage will not even be considered a sacred covenant. people just making s*** up as they go and its supposed to be okay.

I agree with this.. Regardless of marriage, if you are officially dating someone, why the hell even claim them if you really wanna branch out an date/f*** other people... I don't wanna share the person I love and invest time in with ANYBODY else and it's not because I'm "insecure" I just believe in monogamy and true intimacy.

From what you just detailed of your friends past relationship it would do nothing but further eff it up lol.  Its already trust issues and infidelity already so more than likely either your friend or her man will be screwing the woman on some side dippings.  My frat brother and his ex-wife had an open relationship/open marriage and it failed miserably.  For the simple fact that it was based on infidelity and dishonesty.  They would have a partner they messed with, but he'd go around and sleep with her without telling the wife, and the wife would do the same.  She had another boyfriend, and he had another girlfriend that they messed with.  Yet again they'd mess with said partner without telling the other...it was a total disaster
