well ... ya'll are two grown ass adults! 1st of all.. if thats what you want to portray. so everybody should be in control of their own anger by now. 

But i will say that some of these women do in fact take it way over board like they beatin they kids.. and i'm in the background like "do this b**** not understand that he could snap and kill her?!" thats a bit embarrassing for the man and thats when a little restraint is necessary

Any man that stays with a woman that is willing to hit him is a fool.  Most women only will hit her man if she does not respect him at all

This is a good question and honestly, I don't know. There is this part of me that says: Depends on why she slapped him. But then I believe it is wrong for a man to slap a woman for any reason. So, I'm really conflicted on this.

I don't hit men. PERIOD. Do I think that women who hit men deserve to be hit back? Idk....but I do believe that in the heat of the moment (two people arguing, & it escalates to fighting w/ the woman being the aggressor & attacker) you can't expect that man to be rational and weigh the consequences of his actions. True he could leave the situation and cool down, but even more true- she shouldn't have placed her hands on him. I think men that hit women back in the heat of the moment are different from men who abuse women b/c it's Tuesday.

My honest opinion - You can't fault anyone for defending themselves, if you're being attacked and feel your life is threatened, your natural instinct to fight or flight kicks in.

tone i was in a relationship from the time i was 16 all the way until i was 21.  My ex's parents would fight all the time and the aggressor would always be her mom slapping, kicking,punching, throwing something at him and he never retaliated.  And this man was my mentor so everything he did I basically emulated.  So when she would talk crazy and swing on me, or kick me I thought REAL men didnt hit women that they loved so I took it.....until we had a child together and i got sick of it and threw her monkey ass out the front window at my going away party.

The thing is a lot of men are abused too but somehow we are suppose to take the verbal and physical abuse.

I agree that women shouldnt put their hands on men just like men shouldnt put their hands on women but if a woman does lose it and slap her man being that the man is usually bigger and stronger their should be a way for him to restrain her without beating the hell out of her. For instance if a woman slaps her man if he grabs her hands and drags her out the house and locks her out thats a better way of defending himself rather then boxing her back.

 I am going to teach my son not to abuse women. But if she woMan enough to hit him he better hit her back!  If he come in my house with a black eye she better have a matching one. These chicks out here are out of control. You should not raise your hand to anyone at anytime male or female.

That's so true! Or she wants to start a fight! Some chicks are turned on and think that if a man hits her thats love.

I agree with your Grandmother! There is no reason as Adults for a man or a woman to put their hands on one another. If it should arise and a woman puts her hands on a guy, he can defend himself as if to push her away or hold her hands but that doesn't mean he can just haul off and whoop her ass...But domestic violence should'nt be accpeted on either end! Honestly, If I hit a man, I expect him to hit me back..I'm just saying.
