Top Basketball Propect Tony Farmer Gets Three Years - Collapses In Court
An Ohio high school basketball star collapsed in court Tuesday after receiving a three-year prison sentence. You can hear 18-year-old Tony Farmer question his lawyer in disbelief as the judge read the verdict, which sounded like he would spend several years in prison. Then, his knees buckled and he collapsed. He remained on the ground briefly before being pulled to his feet by a sheriff's deputy. Farmer is accused of kidnapping, assaulting and threatening his ex-girlfriend, Andrea Lane, last April. Farmer, who is 6'7", was ranked among the top 100 high school players in the country and was being recruited by several major colleges.

His girlfriend Andrea tearfully testified that even though she wanted nothing to do with him that he shouldn't go to jail. A surveillance camera caught that ass whuppin she received.
Has anyone seen the surveillance footage of the ass whuppin? Has anyone been following this case?

I don't feel any either... that surveillance video showed he is a piece of s***. And you know the court frowns on violating any type of order they put in place. He just a dumb ass dude...

Am I the only one who felt she had been abused by him before? Like in that tape there was no talking or arguing face to face that lead to the beat down. This was premeditated. She saw him and INSTANTLY knew he was about to beat her arse.

Nope. He was beating the sh*t out of her all the time. That's why she was so scared and he was so comfortable violating the restraining order with threats to do it again....smdh. I INSTANTLY started to laugh when I saw his b***hazz fall out.

And I believe they probably threatened her about testifying that he didn't need to go to jail...the judge wasn't buying it. She is a battered woman...

I definitely think she's been hit before. Women very RARELY go to the police the first time they're abused, physically. This might be the worst beatdown- but I definitely agree that she's probably been hit before.

It probably wasn't the worst one but it just might have been the only one that the state could prove beyond a reasonable doubt with or w/o a corroborating victim statement. The tape speaks for itself.

the way he ran up on her and just started beating her and throwing her around like a rag doll, the judge wasn't buying it at all!! he was only in shock and fainted because of everything he was loosing, not because he was remorseful...you couldn't pay me to believe that was the first time he beat her

That boy got off very lightly, the way he beat that girl was vicious, he deserved more than 3 years. Thank God he has been caught now as he already feels entitled and has scant regard for women. Can you imagine what he would of been like in future if this had gone unnoticed with his fame and money and his feeling of entitlement. He ruined his own life and his ex should not be feeling sorry for him at all. I don't have any sympathy for him whatsoever he used his 6'7 frame to beat on that girl, well now he can use it against the men he has to share a cell with to defend himself. I can't believe he thought he was going to escape going to prison. I don't care that he is black he deserves more than that sentence.

He ended up getting 180 days, if he has good behavior. Most likely he will still go to a D1 school

As did I when I read your comment lol! But he clearly has a problem. I have no sympathy for him as well. What is up with all these abusive cases all over the media and social networks lately. Or is it that we are just being more exposed to it? He deserved all 3 of those years if not more.
