Terry McMillan's "A Day Late and A Dollar Short" is one of my favorite books written by her and The Intereuption of Everything.. "Getting to Happy" was not her best in my opinion I wanted my $17.95 back

Yes, the book is a very good read. The Constantine storyline in the book was much better

o s*** i forgot...i did read voices from within the veil by W.E.B Dubois..I was hip to his book Souls of Black Folk, but a friend of mine urged me to find and read Souls of White Folk.  Its a great read...mainly an essay

The autobiography of Malcom X is one of my all time favs. It gave me insight on Black American Muslims that I was once ignorant to.

The Mis-Education of the Negro by Carter G Woodson helped me understand a lot of the hate within our community. 

Midnight by Sister Souljah was a good one as well. I LOVE Midnight's character!!!

Just finished Super Rich by Russell Simmons. About to read Practical Intuition by Laura Day. i also got this book from the library called How To Disappear, preeeety interesting I must say.

I am reading The Millionaire Wives Club right now. So don't tell me what happens, LOL. I cannot even tell you what I have read because I just go into the library (the rachet secton of course) and get five books at a time. So I have read most of what is there, LOL.
