dats how women get killed!! going in basement and s***.....tell dat nigga naw i stay above sea level.
LMAO! I snorted when I read this....but no buddy.  I can't. I agree with everyone who said you shouldn't be dating if your situation is not together. And if you are dating while in this situation, then you can't be expecting to pull the best and/or getting upset when people choose not to deal with you.

This is the difference that I've found:  Most females who live at home or with others tend to not be the ones trying to get you to get it on with them while grandma/moms is in the next room within the first (or first few) dates.  Many men that I've met who live in situations like this tend to be like "hey, wanna smash? my moms/grandmoms is cool." pretty early out the gate.  *I am speaking from MY experiences, not saying that this is gospel.*

In regards to this thread, only in America do women complain about stuff like this. In Hawaii, Europe and other parts of the world it's NORMAL for multiple generation of families to be living under one roof.

Anyhow, fokes, this is going on more then you think in America, I'm in and out of many homes and there are a unprecedented number of young people living at home with their parents (men and women) because they can't find jobs or the rent is too expensive.

It's not fair though that women can live like this and nobody says anything about it, and they are even encouraged to date regardless of their condition, but when a guy lives this way he has some kind of problem and he's a loser.

i would prolly tell him that at this point in my life, he isnt what Im looking for....

A few years ago I met this guy at the beach, he lived in NJ, I had never been so we talked on the phone for a while, then he invited me/I invited me up.   Me and my home girl pulled into a really nice neighborhood,  we were impressed, we standing outside in the front waiting for him and his azz came from the back up some damn stairs, im from down south, so most of our basements are inside our homes, so I thought it was the back door or something until we walked in and our head was almost touching the ceiling.   later on he went to explain how he had to start over, blah, blah, blah, but me and my girl diieedd as soon as we were alone.  his basement was actually almost the same size of my condo and he had it fixed up really nice but I was like the basemtn..why didnt u tell me that b 4 I decided to make my trip

Okaaaayyy! *hi-five*

In other countries they have no other choice, it's literally impossible to buy anything. In states all you need is a 30000/ year salary and good credit history to buy a house. Man in his 30's-40's who still lives with his parents has no excuses.  Even if he lost his job he has to have some savings to keep him afloat while he is looking for new job or changes careers.  Many women are not only making living for themselves but they also have to provide for their children, so it's really laughable when grown man can't get his own. Just lame and weak.

Well we can't worry about other countries. In this country, the tradition is for the man to be the provider. If he is still being housed, he can't possibly provide for a woman the way a man should. This looks like he has no plan's of leaving, and I for one can't waste my time building a relationship with someone who doesn't even want to improve his living situation. Inevitably the woman will be taking care of him the way the parents are now. Yeah, its going on in other countries... so? People commit suicide a lot too, should I pick a bridge to jump off of next?
