Groupie is the starting point. Where you end up is up to you.

Some get a wet puss & a dry purse/bragging rights. Some get a few trinkets and some get financial benefits to improve their lifestyle.

Groupie isn't a bad word, just depends on your perception and thick skin.

I kind of don't understand either.  I think most women like the idea of living that lifestyle. I think many groupies are dumb as hell.  You should have plan to own a business or doing something to better yourself once you snag a baller. 

 

Alot of time women put so much effort into finding men with money/fame, they could use that time and energy and get an education and better their self.

Hey Kim Kardashian is a groupie, a rich groupie. Vanessa Bryant is a groupie, a married groupie. I definitely agree with Old Spice, it's perception.

Why?

I mean, essentially groupie/golddigger/....ho (it's not what your called, but what you answer to) are pretty much all the same thing.  So if you're looking for the 'benefit' in one title vs. another your merely looking for justification IMHO.  Live and Let Live - some chicks are groupies/hooker/golddigger/whores because they like to f**k and preferably on 600 count or higher sheets, some chicks like the so-called status of being associated with some type of celebrity. There is no one answer to this question as in most things it's all a matter of perception and ppl have their individual reasons for what they do.

Some women go by NONE of these labels yet do the same exact thing. Women born into a certain family are taught to breed with other families/wealth to keep the powerful "bloodline" going. Some women are bred to be politician's wives. Some women would love to be married to the President Of The United States. None of these women carry these labels but are likely doing the same thing "groupies" are doing.

A groupie gets off on the fact that who they are f****** with is famous or has status. they don't care about money some of them are rich and have their own.  A gold digger is a woman that gets off on money most women have gold digging traits.

Well I wasn't asking for the definition of the term "groupie" I just wanted to know what the goal, incentive or motivation is for being a groupie. I completely disagree that groupie whore gold digger all mean the same thing. A whore has sex for money. It is a transaction and there is a definite price on each transaction. I would put escorts in this category. A gold digger is looking for a longer term material benefit. It could be a financial benefit or a publicity benefit or both, whatever the case it is a long range plan that they engage in with the reasonable and definite expectation that they will receive a return on their investment. I put people like Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose in this category.

And then there is the groupie...similar to a whore but with no certainty on collecting anything in return for the sex. Hence the question...why? I'm not judging the groupie because people are free to live their lives however they choose it just doesn't seem to make any sense. If someone decides to be a groupie why not just put a definite price on it? I mean to put it crudely p**** is a depreciating asset....the moment you drive it off the lot the clock is ticking...why waste it and at the end of the day look back and you have no "p**** pension"... no return on your investment....nothing but a handful of memories of encounters with people that probably don't even remember you?

I really hope no one takes this the wrong way because I'm just trying to understand. I don't think any of the other labels are necessarily better but I can at least understand the goals of the other categories...The groupie however is an enigma.

I think most of the time the groupie is simply looking for a good time. I think a lot of times groupies often fall into the wannabe golddigger category. For instant, a woman goes in with the intentions of getting money, gives up the p**** and then gets left with nothing but a good time and memories. Leaves with a dry purse and a wet ass. (I love that saying)

The groupie is young, ambitious, and out for fun. Now a groupie can be old, but you'd probably classify her as an old heaux, and a stupid one at that. She still likes the club life and is excited by glitz and glamor, just as the young one....I agree that the groupie is the starting point. some women finesse their plans while some get stuck at that stage.....imo they all have been a groupie at one point or another.
