So my 13 year old nephew tells his mom that he is bisexual *coughs and choking*. And his reasoning he says is because he is explorative. First off the boy is confused one minute he wanted to grow dreads because his absent father had them, then he was a bully at school but tried to act like he didn't do it. I don't get. And my sister just acts as if his reason is okay with her, but a few summers ago his older brother was semi pimped by their neighbor (whose a grown ass 30 year old woman hanging with 12-16 year old boys an girls) who watched these young kids do sexual things to each other. My sister acts so nonchalant when it comes to her children and they all boys (4). I'm scared to have my son go over her house at times because of how she acts, and whats so scary is the nephew whom is confused my son adores him. Please Please give me some input. It's as if the children are already sealing their futures before the even know what living is. Is today's t.v. programs or music artist to blame or is it the lack of parenting?

I agree that you are born gay but I also believe that kids that may have been born straight but were victims of molestation by someone of the same sex sometimes are "confused" because their first sexual experience their body responds to someone of the opposite sex. Many times they suffer in silence because they do not tell because they are ashamed. They never learn to deal with those feelings.

Smitty with this generation being BI is the it thing.  Most people are followers and if something gets popular in the media then kids will be doing it.

I disagree.  I cant see eating another woman's p***y because it's a fad....UGH!!!   In this day and age, people are no longer afraid to be who they are.  As a result, our kids are not afraid to be who they are.  If you tell a young man who's extremely feminine that he's not 'normal', you're encouraging him to live  his life in the closet. Is that fair because your 'normal' is different than his???  IMO....'normal' is subjective.

Lol @beat somebody's ass. I think kids today see gay and bisexual as a fad. They think its cute and I think the media has something to do with it. I had an uncle growing up and everybody just knew he'd be gay but he's not. He was just a young boy who acted soft like his sisters. My newphew that I told yall about likes glittery lotion and purfume. He also like skinny jeans, size small shirts (he's 6ft) and girly patterned socks. I think its a fad and the kids think its cool. I wouldn't let my kids go over there and I think that the mom should tell him that boys are boys and all that so he can see that in the real world gay and bisexual lifestyle is not normal.

+1, I also believe that SOME, not all because we got some born gay children in my family, but I do believe that SOME children take being bi as the new in thing to do.

Most likely he will be gay because no adult stepped in and told him to snap out of it.

I dont think that your son should go over there for a while....

If she doesn't watch her own kids what do you think she'll do with yours

ummmm yeah im gone need for you to love them at an arms reach..they got a f***** brothel going on over there

I agree, she is dealing with something she isn't telling anybody and I tell our father this all the time, but I just pray for her.

I have a friend whose son came out to her. He was molested by a family member of his fathers. Your sister is ignoring a bigger issue and from what you said about her older son and the going ons with the neighbor there is no telling of what happened to all of the kids that go over to the neighbors.

I agree, but still at the same time as the saying goes : Just cause I jump off the bridge or you?"

Yes the she got charged and is supposed to be registered but as soon as she was home for awhile than she was back at my sister house and I was pissed.

Was the neighbor charged??  i wouldnt send my child over there because your sister doesnt make sure they're safe.

As for your nephew, what makes you think he's 'confused'?? Around 13 is when our 'crushes' start.  If he has a crush on a boy, it is what it is.  I believe sexuality is determined at birth and by the time a child is 3, anyone who is paying attention can tell what that child's sexuality is.
