sometimes being truthful is what hurts...some folks don't like hearing the truth.. Groupies are regular people too...But this is an overall general question to anyone who wants to respond...

Yes I think everything would be the same for me cause majority of the time I tell the truth. A wisewoman once told me "never do anything u are ashamed of or do anything that may come back to possibly destroy ur self being". Every since then i took it & ran with it! Its worked out so far.

That is almost the exact philosophy I use. I put it like this: I'd much rather have you mad at me for what I actually said, rather than what I didn't say, or what I lied to you about. Easier to forgive the truth than a lie.

I refer to a quote from my best friend: "Y'know, half the people in the world would stop lying if people could handle the truth."
[I have a lot of good quotes in the vault, I may just let them loose soon :-) ]

Eh, been the odd ball all my life, nothing new. I just find myself dealing with it better nowadays by cracking jokes non-stop, being sarcastic, and not holding my tongue. I like to say it has the effect of being real, but also real annoying.

In my family, the older I’m getting the more folks call on me b/c trust me and know I’m dependable. But, this only happens in the long run. Bottom line, being truthful is liberating yet if you’re not comfortable being the odd ball then keep your mouth shut.
