What she said and that happened around 20 y.o. for me. My boyfriend at the time was 24, drove a Mercedes and owned a home in the suburbs. I wasn't going back! --->

At birth lol, The day I was born I got my first diamond necklace and a bracelet to match. But seriously I was always given the best so I always expected the best from the men around me. Hell in kindergarten I was getting all sorts of gifts to the point where one boy's mother came over my house to meet me bc he tried to take her stereo into school for me to have. (that LSLH syndrome is a trip) lol.  I have dated a few broke guys here and there but on average I only deal with men of means.

I STILL have my dads cc # stored in my phone in case of emergency...

You know - I've always had to have the man with "money".  Some ppl consider Money to be different things, depending on points in their life as well as their up bringing and exposure to certain things.  (I grew up in the hood, but we were like the best of the hood - lol) When I was in middle school, my sis BF used to buy her everything - I mean on my level everything, herringbones,  rings, clothes, shoes, hair done, etc.  I figured thats what a man is supposed to do, so the lil street pharmacist around the corner was good for me. 

When I joined the military, I had to have the higher ranking officials.  At first Sgt's then officers.

I used to read since waay back so all the ghetto books talking about dudes buying Mercedes and houses, Gucci, LV, Jimmy Choo, giving stacks, etc kinda "exposed" me to different wants. (I found BA in one of those books)

Then I had a job making good money and I was able to do things that I hadn't been able to, but I knew it wouldn't be forever, and wanted to continue being able to do that; and at that time I found BA and my home boy turned me on to Elle.   I've learned a lot from BA and it has only made my love for "ballers" grow. 

Sometimes I just look back and laugh at what I didn't know, but considered to be balling, but I was for my level - lol (if that makes sense)  what I STILL don't know and the different levels of balling.
