No, it means nigga I don't WANT you right now....

I moved out of my mom house @ 16..joined the military at 17, so I've been working since then and have never NEEDED a man, but Ive never been on no "Im independent" type of stuff. I have no problem, and have always asked any  man/friend (whenever I have one) for help, if I needed it or not.  Ive never exerted my independence to a man, but I KNOW what Im capable of, its none of his business

I was on one my damn self when I was single...I enjoy sharing my life with him...he balances me out for sure. It is not always easy but he is worth the compromise...the compromise is where I think many people (MEN & WOMEN) look at compromise as settling... and that is not the case.

I will say this I have been independent most of my life... I was onmy own at 17 and not at a university in a dorm either. Different strokes for different folks but I enjoy my life as it is. I enjoy being married to my husband and sharing the load. I never saw myself as being the housewife type until now... i would love to. I do not knock the independent woman movement but i do think that there is something great about healthy partnerships/marriages.

ok..just saying you'd never hear a man yelling about I DONT NEED NO WOMAN. But women will do it in a heartbeat when theyre in a relationship. What gives

True, LOL, I started off the relationship being selfish but as time went on I started to trust him more so I decided if he is ready to go in his wallett then so should I!

From my experience, women say it when their men aint doing what theyre supposed to do..when they dont work, dont want to romance you and all that..then  a woman will let him know - hey, you bout that BS..you can get with it or get lost, I can do bad by myself.  If he's doing what he's supposed to do, then its rare you will hear a woman say that.

I love a good man, they're just hard to come by, so u have to be independant until then. The settleing occurs imo when u have a man just to say u have one and I won't do it. I can be freinds wit any guy but when it comes to choosing him as MY MAN he has to be stronger and can catch me if I fall. I'd do it for him too. As an independant, I aint lookin for no handouts, just a compliment and complement. We, women and men need eachother to BECOME our best selves.

I like making my own coins.. and I would love a man to take care of me or share the load but solely depending on a man changes the dynamics of any relationship. They act more like an ass.. so why I love to be treated like a lady I still want my own.
