I cant believe yall following Tone up....

Not in a particular order

1. Divorce

2. Don't know who the father is

3. Children having children with a boy not mature enough to be a parent

4. Women allowing themselves to get pregnant by a man who doesn't want children at the time

5. Men getting women pregnant knowing they don't want children

6. Personal choice

7. Men walking away completely/mad when the relationship is over

hmm....well tone, i think you should do your research, but that's only if you really want to know and you're not just being facetious.  but let's be real, you're an a****** lmao.

if you're refferring to black single mothers, start with slavery.  black men were taken away from there families to go work.  inturn, the sons grew up only with their mothers to look to for support.  and let's face it, can a woman raise a man?  and we've just went down hill from there.  for the most part, or the most reported part.  ya'll know the media only reports what they want us to know.

maybe if we get to the root of the problem we can work our way up from their.  but let's face it, in this day and age we have too many places that give away free condoms.  i tried to give folks the benefit of the doubt but hell, they just ain't worth it.  i'm still tryin' to figure out why my bd is an a******.  but after reading "cute's" response, i'll just go with #7.

We always walk into Tone's trap with these posts.

No woman chooses a man who will leave their kids. Why do MEN chose to leave a situation? I can tell you that I'm terrified of marriage because I believe ALL BLACK MEN ABANDON THEIR FAMILIES. I know from facts and people around me that it's not true, but at some point, I as a black woman, I will be failed by another black man in my life. I try to shake that attitude, but I can't. I don't trust black men, no matter how good, smart, hard-working, etc. etc. etc. because my mother, grandmother, and other women in my family were f***** over by black men. I've watched them work hard to provide for their families because their husband couldn't take some b******* that all people deal with in life and decided to take it out on the family and leave.

The black community has a lot of single mothers because black men want applause for doing basic s***. I can't keep a house going and take care of kids and a job and have to stop to pat you on the back for having good credit or not being a jail bird.

This is the major problem in our  community women not taking personal responsibility for their choices

I take responsibility for MY choices. I cannot force a man to be a man and stay with the family he helped create. EVERY PERSON is responsible for their actions, their choices. So a good woman who doesn't tolerate mess talks to a man about straightening up his act, he walks out on her and the kids. How is that the woman's fault? If she knew the man was shady, and he gave her his word when they got married that he'd get his act together, how is it her fault if she tries to work with him and he gives up? You think all of these woman walking around with kids made this choice on their own. Last I checked, an ovary can't impregnant an egg, there is sperm coming from a man to create that baby. Unless these men are being raped or threatened at gunpoint, they chose to be a part of that equation. If a man CHOOSES to leave, that is his decision.

There are circumstances that warrant divorce or a couple breaking up, but people today, especially minority males, will walk out on something so fast and not want to work it out. Look at college classrooms, men are more likely to drop out than women (this goes for all races), but black men drop out earlier. They're also more likely to join the military and not stay in until retirement (when it used to be that black men were more likely to stay on until they hit their 20 years).

No woman is responsible for men giving up on life. When you walk out on a family over some BS, you're walking out on your life and someone else's.

The responses now total 36 and we've debated this before on here and the responses are similar. SMH @Tone, just worry about yourself and don't be a deadbeat man/father/husband.
