Any woman who uses sex to get ahead in the professional world is in for a rude awakening. Spreading your legs in the office doesn't have the same results as spreading them at home. Yes, you'll get to a certain professional level but by then I assure you-- you'll be branded for life. And that's when the ladder will stop rising for you.

 

Smartest thing to do in a situation when a boss or whoever comes on to you is to resist and appear shocked as hell. "Why Mr. Brown-- please, stop" (heh heh)  That way you'll have his ass shook enough to get yourself a promotion anyway.

no, in my profession i have now if you have no skills or talent, it doesn't matter who you sleeping with. When i worked in ad business that wouldn't work either, I'd have to be male and gay to advance sleeping through lol

Statistically speaking in the professional arena blk women especially are on the lower end of the totem pole.

Just because you sleep your way to the top, doesn't mean you don't knw you job....its one thing (IMO) to sleep your way to the top and its another to stay there and know what you're doing once you get there.  Im the type who will sleep their way to the top, but will learn any and everything I need to so no one won't have shyt to say.  You HAVE to knw what to do once you get there..

Well I'd argue that women in general are at the low end. But sure, BW have it even lower. Of course, it aint no different for brothers. As much as y'all try to "be down" with your bosses-- going to play golf with him on the weekends, laughing at all his corny jokes and s***.. pfft! He still looks at you like a damn nicca.

But I will say this-- professional white men have a thing for BW in the corporate world. Me thinks its that whole master/slave fetish that continues to germinate in their brains but I have noticed the attention I get is pretty intense when I'm in office buildings for interviews and whatnot.
