Believe it or not but I find Karrine Steffans to be a great mentor. Although her upbringing was not all that great, she has shown that women can be powerful no matter what, all you need is a vision and motivation.

My Mother and my My Grandma. 2 generations of black women in one family that managed to do quite well for themselves with no help from any man on this earth . Every time I look at what they have accomplished , I am motivated to push harder and never stop ! They are my heroes and the fuel that keeps my fire going !

I think u are so right I mean fa real the girl was smart..... shoot u got girls out here doin the same things she doin but gettin no where and nothing and all she did was make money her motivation and took advantage of the situation and opportunity at hand....aint nothin wrong wit that....lol

My Mother and my Grandmother. I also have a lot of respect for Kimora Lee Simmons. When it comes down to handling business Kimora is a beast!!!!

I can NOT look at Karrine Steffans "Supa Head" as a role model or any kind of mentor. After reading her book I realized how sad and pathic her life was. How are you suckin everybody up and you don't have money to pay your bills!?! This is crazy to me. I do think that is great her book did so well and I am glad she can now provide for her son but she is not a mentor of any kind.

You have to look at women such as Kimora and Tyra who did use their looks to take them to the top but they are both beauty and brains.
