WELCOME TO THE 30 DAY CHALLENGE!!!

STARTS SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 2009

' />

Congratulate yourself on taking the first step towards achieving better health. This first installment will deal with a fitness/weight loss challenge, in which you are to log in daily to report your physical activity (or you can post your physical activity for the week on Sundays) and weekly every Sunday to record your weight loss. Some of us have some toning up to do and some pounds to shed. Why not get ready for next summer now? This summer is the perfect time to get active and moving. Explore the great outdoors with a walk. Take advantage of the wonderful fruits in season by making a fruit smoothie. It’s time to get fine or stand in line! Holla!

Attached is a journal I created to help you track your progress. Feel free to have a friend join in!

During the 30 DAY CHALLENGE, you must pledge to do the following each and every day. NO EXCUSES! It is time to take control of your health now in order to be able to live a healthy life in the future.

Here are the rules:

At least 30 minutes of moderate to heavy cardio activity
At least 30 minutes of strength training daily (or 60 minutes of a combination activity, such as kickboxing or aerobics with weights)
Follow a strict nutritional menu (Any one you chose)
You are allowed 4 cheats for the month (This consists of one meal- no fast food)
You are to post what exercises you did and how much weight you lost (You may post either weekly every Sunday or daily. If you are not looking to lose weight, but just to tone, you can still post what you have lost because you most likely are burning fat and building muscle)

Remember, exercise will only get you 10% of results without a healthy diet. What you eat will determine how successful you are.

Hi Delores welcome to BA & thanks for sharing this with us.

I'm interested to know more about the toxins that were removed. What sort of activities are you doing different & what changes have you made to your diet since your experience.

Delores said:
In May, 2009, I died. I was in the ICU on life support and in a coma for 7 days. I had an out of body experience, experienced death, an unexplainable peace and saw the bright, bright light. The doctors wanted permission from my family to disconnect my life support on the 4th day. By God's grace and the power of prayer, I squeezed my son's hand so hard that he said that he had to struggle to break free--it was then that I opened my eyes.

Life is too precious to take anything for granted, especially one's health. The toxins that were removed from my body were for the medical books. I am healthy now and intend to stay this way. Your challenge is impressive. Will you permit me to become a part of it?
