LOCAL VACAY

Money is low, stress is high, you need a break... What can you do? If you live in a state that has a beach, why not drive there and decompress for the weekend? If not, a trip to the Bahamas is an economic alternative. Just because you can't get to Africa or Paris this year, doesn't mean that you can't have a good time chillin' on a beach somewhere. Kick your shoes off and do something relaxing this weekend. Do you have any tips for local vacays?

I was thinking of bed and breakfasts, those mom & pop small joints. And also taking the train to another city for the day and return back home at night.

I live in MIA 10 min from the beach and I almost never go anymore . I want to take my family to Nassau for spring break , m kids want to go to Atlantis but I just left there and don't know if I wanna go right back !

I agree with a nice hotel being a great place to go. Something about hotels are just so relaxing and peaceful. I love them.

Im thinking about spending a weekend with my daughter in DC or Baltimore. She's a preschooler. The zoo, aquarium, etc. IDK which 1 yet.
