Honestly when it comes to labels and high fashion I dont believe a lot of women even do it for the men.... they do it to look better then the next chick. Have all eyes on them. I believe the best way to dress is what makes you feel comfortable... Whatever makes you exude that confidence. Because if you don't have that he won't even pay you any type of attention. I often hear men say "I want a woman with a closet full of heels but she never wears them because she stays in her 6'" and to those men I say "do you know how much pain a 6' is. That hurts!!! Pass me a pair of j's or my barkleys please lol. I also feel a lot of times we as women want to play the man role. Most times not on purpose but we know how to hustle and depend in ourselves just so we wont set ourselves up for failure. Allow him to be the man but dont set yourself short walk beside him not behind...

You're absolutely right. A lot of these simple chicks dress for women, not for the men. Men could care less about a lot of these labels and the men who DO care better be ready to buy them for me with HIS money.

There are only certain labels a straight man would recognize anyway..you can be fly as you wanna be and wear only designer but all that tacky ass stuff with G's and C's and LV's all over it is where alot of women mess up. It lets him know not only are you into the big names but you want others to notice you're into them. I keep it subtle with all leather bags and an expensive pair that don't SCREAM "new money". There's an art to appealing to a baller.

I agree with this. Men love a woman they can introduce to things. I cant tell you how many times I have seen a baller with someone "basic." A woman that alreadys wears loubs and louis cant be introduced to it. Theyve been up on game. The thing I dont agree with is the chick who isnt into high fashion is the one thats been grinding. Thats sooooo not true. If Im spending 1200 on a pair of heels, believe I had to grind to get them because I had to make sure rent was paid first. As long as a woman has her priorites in check I dont see anything wrong with her loving high fashion. Men just have these big ass egos and are intimidated by working to get a better woman. Thats why they settle for those trick b******. But someone like me can rock jeffrey campbell and jordan, ijs.

EXACTLY!!!! What a man finds sexy vs what a woman finds sexy is totally different and that's where some of these women go wrong. You don't have to rock all high fashion labels to look good, it's about dressing to compliment your body in the best way possible. I know this isn't really related to the article above but I had to say something. I always dress in what men find sexy, not because I dress to please a man, but because that style of clothing always does me the most justice and I prefer looking hot vs trendy.

Sorry but I hate lables, I cut them off and feel like a branded cow if there are visible labels.Loubs- i still can't wear them so they are collecting dust in my closet even with Dr. Scholls my feet are killing me after 1 hour of wearing it.

I like to wear something that nobody else will have with me in the same room. Every man has it's own sense of what is attractive, I always pulled the ballers when I was wearing something comfortable. When I dressed like a fashion model it was almost intimidating and i had to be extra friendly to people. Classy but comfy at the same time complementing your best features is a way to go in my book.

this has been a known fact it takes a certain kind of man to me comfortable with a strong "ms independent lady".

I do not like screaming labels..if you see me with one that means it was gift but on my own I like discreet designer items.

I hate the visible label whores....they gotta flash their labels...Gucci hat, Gucci shoes, Gucci purse??? B-tch Gucci better be paying you for advertising....I can very well go to New York and Company or White House Black Market and look better without the abrasive labels

I agree ... keeping it simple and classy is the best way to go ... Men love the idea they can introduce you to the best things ... they love to upgrade there chick  ... but whats to upgrade if u already rockin the best ...Rockin to many expensive labels definately gives off gold digger ...
