BLACK WOMEN IS IT TRUE YOU HAVE TO BE “EXOTIC” TO SNAG A BALLER? **UPDATED**
It was all started by the white man. It’s been a problem since the beginning of time. It started during slavery when the light skin blacks were the house slaves, and the darker ones were in the field. It’s sad that it was started back in the slavery days, and we are still on it.
For those who might not know what exotic is let me explain: Exotic means " introduced from another country : not native to the place where found : foreign, alien 3: strikingly, excitingly, or mysteriously different or unusual." Baller Alert profiles hip hop models because they are a part of the whole baller and groupie culture. Every hip hop model biography has said that they were exotic. Every single one talked about how they were ¼ this and ¼ that. By looking at them, most look black, but they always claimed to be mixed with something. It reminds me of when I was growing up and it was cool to have Indian in your family. It was the business. Or if you had good hair, the kids would say, you must have Indian in your family.
Hip Hop has a lot to do with it. Hip Hop has glorified these women, by having them in a room with a bunch of regular looking men. Funny thing is, if they were average joes these women wouldn’t pay them any attention. Looking at the videos on 106 and Park, most of them have an exotic leading lady. They are never just black. I think that this is embedded in our heads now. For so long the light skin black, was deemed as superior to the whole race – thanks to Spike Lee movies like School Daze (Wannabees and Jiggaboos) and Jungle Fever (black man leaving his wife for an exotic beauty), the black woman is screwed. Black women now have to compete with these exotic beauties.
One of our mentors and icons to the hip hop community P Diddy set a bad example for our men. His long time girl friend Kim Porter, who is a beautiful black woman was dogged by Diddy. He left her twice – both for exotic beauties JLo and Cassie.
I know a guy, who was happily married until an exotic woman showed him some interest. He cheated on his wife, and ruined his family for this girl. He has been quoted as saying that he is not a great looking guy, but he managed to snag an exotic model beauty. Needless to say, his exotic beauty is an illegal alien that is just trying to get her green card.
So, what do you think? Do you have to be exotic to snag your baller? I sit here trying to think of women who actually snagged a baller and they weren't mixed with something. Tell me if I'm wrong. Help me create this list. Celebrity women who married ballers don't count. Sorry, what you got?

- All i have to say is, it really don't make sense to claim that you're half this or half that, because at the end of the day those exotic hoes still enhance all type of things just to have features like a "chocolate sista". So to me it's like a whateva i not changing s**t, because we all have one thing in common and that's pu**y and mine is exotic enough for me! @madi - It's just business for me..I think if I was younger and immature I would be either turned out or feel a certain way about myself. Men come down here to play...that's it and that's all. And they are so disrespectful to women in South Beach. I realized that there are two parts of Miami.."the beach" and "across the bridge" The beach is fantasy land. You have all your ethnic women that men see in the videos..."across the bridge" is the real Miami. It's country fried..gold teeth...THE SOUTH. I love both parts...lol
My co-workers tease me because I go "across the bridge" to shop and party. You have to do that to know what's realistic. South Beach is unrealistic...I love living on the beach though.

I think the article's topic is ALL WRONG!!! and as usual making WOMEN the scapegoat. I think it should be rather directed at men
It boils down to regualr looking black men arent comfortable with theirselves so they project this on black women the close thing to them and somehow make them the scapegoat... they get their confidence and worthiness by not looking in the mirror but by creating falsehoods.. i.e fake balling...i.e. not appreciating the beauty that is black woman irrespective of their skin complexion...
most regula azz or sub regula azz black men who put these type of women on pedstals have issues ..so when they go out and get these women they somehow feel confident.. all of a sudden they got swag.its the same thing just like when they come into money.... they identify it with their self worth and all of a sudden they r king of the world...
The real topic WHY DO Low self esteem no confidence having or CORNBALL AZZ RICH BLACK MEN TRY TO DATE ONLY "EXOTIC" WOMEN TO MAKE THEMSELVES FEEL BETTER ABOUT BEING SO UNATTRACTIVE AND CORNY!?!"
These guys that date these "exotic" women for that reason are no better then the black men whom only date anonymous joints... sick in the head and super insecure
